Quarantaine
Reviewed By M319IJmariamWe have had a very nice stay with Duke in IAH at Kacyiru. He makes a nice breakfast and the place looks really nice, clean and colorful. When we found out we had Covid and needed to be quarantined, the manager gave us us call and offered us a nice, big and cosy room at IAH Kicukiru. The team really took good care of us and made quarantine almost a pleasure. Hopefully this hotel can be a quarantaine hotel so other people can enjoy it as much as we did. Chef Frank and Joseph make delicious food, served by the amazing Felix and Duke, and last but not least the manager who became our executive assistant and savior, Raymond, thank you so much.

Great service
Reviewed By RadsurfStayed a couple of times as we were travelling around East Africa. Hotel is situated away from main roads and has a great view across the city. Pool is a bonus. Many thanks to the hotel team who made us feel at home and helped us with luggage and taxi arrangements - particularly John.

Simple rooms, incredible staff, would recommend
Reviewed By shanemhallMy wife and I stayed here for 1 night and really appreciated the social layout of the hostel and the staff. While our stay was short, the staff kept us company and engaged in great conversation with us over a lovely dinner cooked by the host, Bertrand. Kevin also went out of his way to make sure we had a great, yet safe, time in Kigali. We really loved what they're doing here. Rooms and bathrooms are very basic, yet clean.

Reviewed By C4613CWannettekWe verbleven in totaal 5 nachten in Palm Garden Resort. Allereerst wordt bijna al het eten verbouwd in de achtertuin en heb ik de lekkerste gegrilde vis gegeten uit de voortuin (de lake). De staff is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een fietstocht over een stukje van de congo-nile trail is zeker aan te raden. Ook een wandeling door de omliggende dorpen, zeker een groot avontuur voor mijn dochter. Verder fijne regendouche, warm water en een goed ontbijt.

Cheap but ok
Reviewed By Alexandre .I stayed 3 days in la Voisina Motel and I have to say that for the price (15000RWF for single) the stay was ok. Do not expect more than a place to take rest and have nice food. The staff wich is actually a family is very nice. It's far to meet international standard but I have to say that I surprisly had a pleasant stay.

Colours Club is the best place in Kigali for budget accommodation with value for money services. It hosts 8 rooms with double/single beds, attached toilets, chairs and cupboards. Breakfast and Wif-Fi are free. Pizzeria, restaurant, bar, shisha, DSTV entertainment, sauna, massage are available. It has a beautiful garden suitable for kids, events as well as romantic dining.

I booked it instantly and happy to say that I made a right choice. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Owner came to pick me at Airport as covid19 protocol and gave me a warm welcome. I was taken to hotel. I admit that 1st day was very boring as I was advised by hotel not to meet other guests until my Covid19 report came. But after my Coivd19 report, I got chance to interact with staff and other guests. Breakfast was superb. If you are looking for business class facilities, this place may not be of your type but for budget travelers and backpackers, this place is bestin Kigali.

Family Hostel located at the outskirt of Nyungwe National Park overlooking the tropical rain forest and a large tea plantation. Accessible on the main road as you drive to Cyangugu, Kamembe town. The hostel staff will help you book parks activities including chimpanzees tracking and other monkeys, nature walks, waterfall hike, birding and tea tour. The hostel is a family and friendly place.
Managing issues, not value for money
Reviewed By Rafel LMaybe something has changed, It seems to me that previous reviews are talking about a different place. Serious management issues. Impossible to have a decent hot shower, unless waiting for at least one hour (even the day of arrival, when we booked in advance). I can't believe comments about delicious food. We had two dinner and one lunch, all the time same "menu": beef, rice and spaghetti. Although we asked for some easy alternative, we were told that chicken is not possible, nor just a couple of fried eggs. They told us that they only know how to prepare boiled eggs. Room clean and comfortable. So, if there is not big change, avoid this place

I stayed one week at St. Paul's
Reviewed By Wetlander-2013My overall opinion is good, I could be back, here. The restaurant and the bar is good, I enjoyed many meals here. One downside: I turned pretty ill (from another restaurant) and was stuck to the bed for two days. But I had no money and was to sick to go to the bank. I needed water, though: I had severe diarea. And I simply was to sick to start a fight over: "Sorry, if you have no money, we can't give you any bottled water, they are 500 each..." Absolutely incredible!! Fortunately I had friends to help me out. with money and ORS. Once better, I enjoyed the place again. St. Paul is very basic, clean enough, shower okay. And it is VERY quiet at night. Wifi worked maybe 50% of the time. I saw no mosquitoes but that was also because the sprayed insecticide, daily... :-$

La chambre est confortable avec douche chaude et un balcon avec une belle vue sur la piscine. La nourriture est bonne. Seul bémol, il faut un peu attendre. La piscine est agréable. La situation de l’hôtel est bien: dans le centre de Nyanza et à proximité des points d’interêt touristiques. Pour 35000frw/nuit pour une chambre double, il s’agit d’un très bon rapport qualité/prix.
