Wide beaches along the "Flower Coast" attract families and those commemorating the D-Day landings of 1944. Inland, cattle graze in rural idylls and pre-WWII buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Rent a car or take tours from Caen or Bayeux. The landscape around his home in Giverny inspired Monet's Water Lilies, and summer's profusion of blooms is quite lovely. Don't miss Rouen's old town and cathedral, Caen's cathedral, Bayeaux's tapestry and the ancient island-abbey of Mont-St-Michel.

Venez découvrir un lieu de vie innovant en plein cœur de la ville pour profiter créer, rencontrer et se retrouver, s'amuser et rêver...
Loved staying in this warm and very convenient hotel. Plenty of things to make your stay comfortable such as the possibility to listen to music in the room/bathroom, the digital tv, different light "themes". Slightly disappointed to stay in suite without a bath. For a couple, a suite isn't much of an upgrade from a simple room (unless you plan on fighting, because the suite has a couch).

We selected this hotel because there was a swimming pool. When we arrived we were told that the cost of using the pool would be 10 euros per person for the week we understood that the times would be from 6.30am to 9pm. When we used the pool when found out that as hotel guests we could only use the pool from 6.30pm to 9pm. The spa, which included the swimming pool was not part of the hotel and run seperately. This was not indicated on the website. However, after speaking to the manager we were allowed to use the pool, but we were approached twice by spa staff, who challenged our being there. When we arrived at the hotel, the restaurant was not open and therefore we could not by a drink until 7pm. Our room was good, but it was in the eaves and was very hot; we couldn't open the roof window as there was a lorry park behind our room, with fuel pumps etc, these started at about 4.30am. The first night we managed to open the roof window, but the noise and the fumes were too much. The room would have been much better with AC and also a mini fridge. It would have been good to have a few seats and tables nearby for relaxation. This hotel is very good for a couple of nights.

This is the perfect place! The location is in the middle of the nature with a superb view, the rooms are very nice and clean, the staff is lovely, there are many activities for the kids (football, table tennis), the restaurant is delicious… could not ask for more! thanks a lot!

This Youth Hostel is a really pleasant location to stay. It is one of the nicer hostels I have experienced. It was warm and cozy with a decent self catering kitchen. Breakfast was included which was basic, but I felt good value considering how much the room cost. I supplemented it with a Pain Au Chocolat from a Boulangerie nearby! 20 min walk to SNCF Rail Station, 25 minute walk to Ferry Port. 5 min walk to town centre. Cité De La Mer attraction was really worth a visit - especially the submarine. Check Reception Hours before arrival, as you will not get in when Reception is closed.

If you like a bit of camping, then this is the place to be. You have a choise between a chalet, a trailer or a yurt. We stayed in a trailer. There you have all you need like a, cooking place, a microwave, coffee-machine, pots and pans, dishes, etc.. Shower, toilet,..... The bed is a bit of the small size, it's 1.40m wide and if you are a bit of a large person, then it can be a bit crappy. The vieuw is great and there is hardly any noise from the surrounding area. The owners are very friendly and also helpfull if you need something. For supper, you can order in advance at the site and is very cheap for a 3 course meal. You can also get a pinch of wine for 9€/liter. The breakfast is typical French, coffee, croissants, bagguette, marmelade, some fruit, fruitjuice,.... but no meat or cheese. Afterall the stay was good and recommendable.

Friendly staff, comfortable room with nice breakfast. Location is great with views of the Seine River. The city is easy to walk and public transportation is awesome. Really enjoyed the historic old city.

Food was disgusting we all starved. The first floor dorms were dirty and many dorms had bed bugs. People on my trip didn’t eat a proper meal for a week, we had to survive on Oreos bought from the local supermarket.

Very near to St. Lo we found this lovely B&B in the countryside. Very silent and green environment. It turns out to be a great base to explore Normandy (basse). Very gentle owners, with great hospitality!
