OM solstickan Historien börjar med att vandrarhemmets kringbyggda gård var en före detta barnkoloni. Här bor du på ett mysigt och familjärt boende i klassiska vandrarhemsrum eller i 12 stuga/Lägenheter med egen dusch och toalett samt pentry med matplats TV och egen uteplats . På vandrarhemsdelen i huvudbyggnaden finns ett stort kök med matsal och allrum med TV som våra gäster har tillgång till. Omgivningen är idyllisk och fylld med bärbuskar, samt barnvänlig då det finns stora gröna ytor med lekplats. I trädgården finns även grillplats och trädgårdsmöbler för sena och mysiga kvällar! Solstickan ligger endast 150 meter från havet och Sveriges längsta sandstrand som erbjuder ett stort utbud av aktiviteter. För den som bara vill promenera är stranden underbar att uppleva. Antingen vid vattenbrynet eller i de kuperade sanddynerna. Total 110 bäddar sammanlagt,öppet året runt.
Great location, but hostel needs an upgrade
Reviewed By TravelsolThe hostel is very noisy due to thin walls and doors slamming shut. The bathroom was not so pleasant (e.g. old/dirty shower curtain). The rooms are very simple. It's a shame - the hostel house istelf is a nice old house and could have been such a cosy and charming hostel! The same goes for the outside area - with a new playground and some bushes, plants etc., it could have been such a gem. The price was too high for such a simple hostel room with check-out cleaning not included.

Reviewed By nikoccVery friendly and engaged owner, Anna. Small room, shared bathroom!! You have to pay for the bed sheets extra and to clean the room before you leave, for 660 SeK for two. Great nature around, also the beaches/coastlines, which serves for cows first. A bit India in Sweden.

Reviewed By Giulio FGreat welcoming and professional staff (and all the Girls are good looking... which is always a plus!). Excellent gym and good breakfast. Rooms are cosy and Clean. The surround is very nice. .. but i was there during winter so no chance to have a good look.

Fegens vandrarhem is situated in an old villa with a beatiful view over Fegensjon. We have a big kitchen and a diningroom with 40 seats. The rooms have one to five beds. Toilets and showers are in the corridors close to the rooms. We have TV- and livingroom upstairs. The balcony has the lake below and the grill close behind. The parking is right up to the house. You can swim and bathe in the lake an rent boat and fishingtackle in Fegenkiosken. You can also rent a bike and visit the restaurang, 200 m to walk.

A charming Hostel right by the beach in the lovely village Åsa on the swedish westcoast. 20 min from Varberg, 26 min from Kungsbacka and 40 min from Gothenburg.

A comfy stay with no complaints
Reviewed By Berimbolo JWe came from Oslo for a 2-night stay to compete in a local sporting event. The first thing that caught my attention upon arrival was the level of cleanliness. I may be exaggerating, but can truly not recall the last time a hotel/hostel had newly washed scenting bedsheets. Our 3-bed room with private bathroom offered me good nights of sleep. Waking up to a non-luxurious but fullfilling spread of breakfast. I was particularly fond of the waffles you could make yourself. The building from 1912 is located a short walk from the central train station, which also serves as a hub for transfers to other places around town by bus. Johanna of the staff who assisted us with checking in past operating hours and greeted us at breakfast was welcoming and helpful. Negative reviews of hostels are not rarely stumbled upon, and MOST of the time these ranting dogs are barking out of their rear. It's the kind of illogical troublemakers who expect 8-star service and accommodation out of a small budget place. You won't be attended to in special ways to make you feel royal. There's no bacon, smoked salmon or 16 varieties of salad toppings. This is an adequate, comfy, no-super-bang-for-the-buck and quiet little place that suits your needs. Highly recommended if you or your entourage is not squeaky little complaining trolls. Thanks for the stay!

Cozy little hostel on the coast of Falkenberg, 450 meters from on of Swedens best beaches. Skrea Strand. The area has bar, restaurants and shopping close by. 14 rooms and 3 private cabin. Bedsheets and towels could be rented for extra charge. Common kitchen and lounge area. Bathroom and shower shared in corridor.

Reviewed By 321katarinaeSämsta möjliga kommunikationen med ägarna trots att de dragit kostnaden för rummet. Trots att vistelsen var avbokningsbar. Det krävdes flera samtal, sms och e-post innan det äntligen återbetalades. Så uttalar mig endast om ärlighet och kommunikation med ägarna. Inte om själva boendet. Men tycker verkligen det säger allt hur seriöst man behandlar kunder. Och ingen som helst ursäkt gavs.
