Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Located in the heart of Gunnison, this exceptionally clean residential hostel feels like coming home. Perfect for groups, families, couples, or solo travelers, the Wanderlust offers a large community kitchen, living area, backyard, and both private and shared rooms. We are truly a "bed between adventures".
We had been looking to stay at a motel in the area before we found this hostel. I'm so glad we found this hostel it was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Full kitchen with cooking supplies and basic spices for people to use. Very nice bathrooms with towels provided. Provided guests with brochures of sights to see in the area. Room was very comfortable and beds had a privacy curtain that I very much appreciated. Bed was pretty damn comfy. Hostel was also noticeably making an effort to be conscious of waste and were very eco-friendly. We payed around $36 for our stay and I could not be happier. I will 100% be returning, I cannot recommend this hostel enough.

It's an awesome place. I really liked the people, the staffs are nice. The bedrooms are clean and the hostel is close to stores and a bus stop. It was my first experience in Colorado Springs and I loved it.

A common room features TV, books and board games. We also offer rooms with private bathrooms and TV. Outdoor cooking grill and fabulous outdoor gardens and fire pit! Join us at our historic Inn, one of the original town buildings from 1894. Historic Mancos Inn, nestled between Mesa Verde National Park and Durango, Colorado.
In 20 years of traveling, I've never experienced such collective incompetence. I HIGHLY recommend spending a few more dollars to stay in one of the surrounding areas. Within 30 minutes of arrival, we noticed a double charge for the weekend. Chris (the live-in attendant) insisted first thing that we re-swipe the CC used to book online. When we claimed we were already charged, he pushed back and became argumentative. Hence, the double-charge. Rather than acknowledging his mistake and refunding us on the spot, he insisted I deal with it. Again, he became argumentative and agressive, making me extremely uncomfortable. I asked for a refund in order to stay elsewhere & he denied that request. This lack of accountabilty continued for over a week after as I was passed from one person to the next. I lost time, energy, hours away from work & gained a lot of aggravation. Eventually, I relented & spent hours on the phone with booking.com in order to fix the mistake no one would make right. This includes Chris, Sarah and whomever Amy is. We are still out money for a refund they have now chosen to ignore. Additionally, there is NO privacy & they WILL enter your room without permission if there is not a sign on the door. The shared bathroom is blocked by a flimsy curtain and set off of a trafficked entrance & kitchen area. There is no insulation, no fans & no air conditioning. The rooms are on top of each other. There are, however, plenty of cameras. Their priorities are clear. Awful place.

Our Hostel in Leadville is located in Colorful Colorado. It is the highest hostel in the USA right in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountain wonderland. We are not your typical bare-bones hostel! With clean beds, our all access kitchen and lots of hot water, our hostel is an ideal resting place for the road-weary explorer. We have large common rooms for quiet reading or socializing with fellow pilgrims, and the hostel gives its guests the feeling of a home on the road. Activities are endless in our beautiful area!

The Pad Silverthorne is a boutique hotel/hostel, centrally-located along the Blue River, bringing affordable + high amenity lodging to Colorado's ski country.
Stay here! The Pad is amazing! This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will definitely be back. The first time I stayed in a micro room and the second in the female dorm. Both were great. The owners have done a fantastic job creating a well designed, affordable, fun place to stay in Summit County! Everything was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great. All of the above plus a hot tub, bar, yoga and other events make this place a must stay!

Beautiful place and beautiful people. The rooms have all comforts that an explorer might need. There are many accessories like cups, blanket and a cooler free to use.We were able to park our car right in front of the room. The bar have delicious coffe and food. The only defect that we found was the cleaning. The room was dusty and the linens weren’t spotless like they should be.The sower was dripping.Otherwise the LOGE is a place where we will be back.Congrats people.

A mountain hostel in Breckenridge crafted as a base camp for adventurers, mountain gurus, ramblers, and those with a genuine love for the outdoors.
My husband and I stayed here for one night and absolutely fell in love with this place. The manager was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. The attention to the little details made a big difference and made us feel as if we were staying with family. The freshly made breakfasts were amazing, the fire was always going, the hot tub and fire pit looked great, and the location was perfect. We would most definitely go back and now want to try the Telluride location next!

We the People of Hostel Fish believe that a hostel of backpackers, by backpackers, and for backpackers, shall be a fun, safe, spotless, high-end joint that is Classy as F...(ish!). We are focused on the traveler and the traveler's needs and believe something being affordable should still offer exemplary service and more than expected perks. We believe that shared rooms and neo-urbanism, when combined, create an epicenter for those "seekers of life's adventures" to meet each other and foster new friendships. We're stoked to host you. We're jazzed to have you as our guest. We're here for you and always want to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how we can improve your experience. We're located in the historic Airedale Building in the HEART of downtown Denver. Walking distance to major Denver attractions, Hostel Fish is steps from Coors Field, minutes from the trendy RiNo district, and surrounded by amazing night life.
I was in the moto room. It was a comfortable stay. Check in was fast and efficient and the front desk person was friendly and wears multiple hats including working the bar. I would stay there again. A great place to meet people and views from the balcony and a free drink upon arrival.

Very friendly staff and lots of thru-hikers! Hostel was clean and in a great location--we walked to the river, biked to the trails, and skipped to the bars! We stayed in the private room downstairs which was perfect for our old pup who we brought along. All in all a great stay, thank you!

Back country Lodge, located near Ophir Pass, between the towns of Silverton and Telluride Colorado. Solar powered and heated, designed to accommodate skiers hikers and climbers year round. Three mile ski in access in winter, one quarter mile hike in summer. Wood fired sauna and spacious decks. Bed and Breakfast style lodging with meals and bar.
3 couples stayed here and enjoyed our time immensely. Due to covid we were a private group only. Alison and Bob took excellent care of us, providing us with delicious meals, including afternoon soup. We did enjoy our dinner with wine and spirits from the bar on site. The hiking and scenery is beyond compare.
