Quaint alpine villages and great skiing entice travelers to the Grisons. The sparsely populated region of eastern Switzerland contains the source of the Rhine and Inn rivers, 140 square miles of glaciers and dense pine forests. Join the ski action at the resorts of St. Moritz, Davos and Arosa or stake a lofty claim with a visit to Juf, which boasts the highest altitude of any inhabited village in the Alps. In summer, take a hike through the Engadine Valley in the unspoiled beauty of Swiss National Park.

A top modern youth hostel with a dazzling location: a holiday paradise for summer and winter. Breathtaking panoramas, a valley of seemingly endless vistas, fascinating contrasts and unique skies. St. Moritz is a world-famous, glamorous centre of attraction amidst the ancient, harsh natural environment of Upper Engadine. And at its centre the Youth Hostel. The building, positioned on the edge of the forest in St. Moritz, has an open and uncomplicated atmosphere.
I am currently half way through my stay here. There is a group of about 150 children. Last night they were running through the halls, screaming, banging on doors etc. The first night there was a big party outside for them. As a result I have not slept properly for 2 nights running. They also take the buses at peak times so there is no space for others. I complained & asked for a refund so that i could move to another hotel- even another youth hostel in the same chain/other city but the reception staff would not give me any refund for any of my stay. I understand that it is not the hotel staffs fault but I do expect an exception to be made in these circumstances or at least to put the children on the same floor/away from other guests. I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I have experienced. I would expect something to be done. I will not be staying here again.

Everybody knows that the air up here is pure and invigorating. And lying on one of the terraces, you have got nothing but a canopy of big blue sky above you. What was formerly a sanatorium is today the Youthpalace. Even the place itself at 1,600 metres above sea level is inspiration for organising your own World Leisure-Time Forum. So, what are you waiting for? Come to Davos for that ultimate holiday feeling.
Delicious food, including vegan option!! Very nice staff: kind, flexible, smiley, friendly and welcoming :) Very relaxed environment, great to relax or have fun with family or friends. Clean and nice space! Good environment and good music in the games room.

The Hostel by Randolins with free WiFi can be found on the Suvretta hillside, which is one of the most beautiful places in St. Moritz offering superb views. On prior request, a free pick-up service is available from St. Moritz Train Station and on-site parking is provided for a surcharge. Situated in the heart of the Engadine Mountains, the hostel is a perfect place for active leisure, as ski slopes and hiking trails pass right beside them. The rooms are non-smoking and feature an in-room sink. There are bathrooms on every floor. Bike and ski storage rooms are at your disposal as well. For an additional fee you can use the spa area of the neighbouring hotel. For stays of 2 nights or more, in summer the use of all regional buses and cable cars are included in the price and in winter, you receive your skipass with the two offers “Snow Deal” or “Sleep + Ski” from just CHF 45 per person and day.
I had one of the best stays on my trip through Europe at Hostel by Randolins. The location is absolutely beautiful with plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails available. They provide a free shuttle in and out of town and train station. The room was very clean and comfortable. Best of all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to Laura at front desk for advice on hiking trails. If you go to St Moritz this is where you want to stay.

Staying in these magnificent mountain surroundings, with their myriad of contrasts, is a delightful and unforgettable experience. Cyclists can pick up supplies here, while hikers arrive from Alp Languard via the high-altitude trail and discover the breathtaking panorama. And when those taking part in the Engadine Ski Marathon catch sight of the large, red building they can breathe a sigh of relief: they've reached the halfway mark!
Stayed for three nights in a female dorm (but had the room to myself the entire time). Comfortable bed, clean room and bathrooms, very good shower, decent breakfast spread and the option to dine there in the evenings for a reasonable price (very nice not to have to go out looking for a place for dinner after a long day of hiking). Location is perfect (less than one minute from the train station) and there’s a parking lot where you can park your car for 7 francs per day. Most of all, staff were very helpful and knowledgable about the area (and the area itself is spectacular). One thing I wish I had known in advance: the front desk is unmanned from 10 am to 4 pm. I assumed (wrongly) that when I arrived at 1 pm there’d be someone there who could tell me where to park my car and to give me the pass for the trains and cable carts so that I could go about my day, then do the check-in thing sometime after 4 pm. This was not the case, however, and by the time I was checked in, my car was parked and I had the pass, all the cableways were closed for the day. This was a bit of a letdown on my first day, but I more than made up for it on the three days that followed.

Welcome to the Spenglers Inn! Cozy rooms and a friendly team are expecting you in the heart of Davos. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, digital TV and free wifi. Public transport, mountain railways, the Vaillant Arena, the congress centre, shops and restaurants are within walking distance from the hostel.
It is worth what I payed. These are basically back rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel that are so small they cannot be upgraded to the standards of the rest of the hotel. They are small with wear and older amenities, but they are cheap and centrally located. Rooms are clean. I like staying there. You can upgrade your breakfast to the hard Rock breakfast for 35per person, or walk 100 m to COOP for a coffee and gipfeli (5 CHF). The only reason your dont get 5 stars is my daughter complained there was no chalk for the doors.

Hostel is very well located, 50 meters from the signalbahn cable car, good for those who want to snowboard or ski, staff very good and atencious, the breakfast is also good, but the wifi internet at the hotel is terrible.

Looking for a friendly and cheaper accommodation in Klosters? Then you've definitely come to the right place. We offer accommodation for all ages. Furthermore, we are centrally located, 300m from skilifts, trainstation and shops. During the summer we offer outdoor sports such as rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, paragliding, ... and in wintertime we offer ski and snowboard activities.
Fantastic place to stay for skiing in DavosKlostersMountains. Ideal location only a few minutes walking distance to the gondola and station, bus in front of the hostel. Lovely looking and very practical and comfy room with wash-basin. Best hosts, kind, helpful and knowledgeable in every aspect. Fantastic breakfast. Skiing with Wim as ski coach has been grand. The snow was perfect, too. Can´t say anything about the views - kept on snowing all the time -:)

Well its not luxury but travelling with kids, being on the ski slopes, having breakfast and dinner included ( which was generally good), having plenty of other visitors to mix with and most importantly for us having ski pass included and free ski school made this hostel just fine and we had a great holiday. Its nothing extradionary but met our needs and was the best value we could find.
