The sun-drenched Canary Islands lie close to North Africa and have an exotic flavor of their own. Hundreds of volcanoes, rolling sand dunes, rich forests and rugged cliffs dapple these seven Atlantic gems. Catch a ferry to Lanzarote. Ride a camel through volcanic Timanfaya National Park. Take on Tenerife, home of Mount Teide, Spain's tallest peak. Romp Grand Canary's beaches or hike La Gomera's Garajonay National Park. More adventures await on tiny El Hierro, verdant La Palma and peaceful Fuerteventura.

Drago Nest has excellent viewings from the terrace to the Teide Montain and to the sea. If you want to enjoy of the mountain you have routes by foot from the hostel. We promote the local gastronomy such as cheese, honey, marmalades, chocolate and the gofio (corn flour). It is in Icod de los vinos, a city in the middle of the mountain. So you have spectacular views.
Great place, stayed one night on the way to Puerto de la Cruz and was told that they had another there Puerto nest so repeated. Drago next is good for visiting Teide and hiking. Nice roof tops in both. Great staff and atmosphere.

La infraestructura y las instalaciones son una de las cosas más buenas del hostel porque tiene una visión vintage que lo hace muy atractivo. Después las actividades que se brindan son muy buenas como el servicio que brindan

Welcome to our new friendly laid-back hostel in Tenerife, Costa Adeje. If you’re looking for fun, comfort and relaxation in the south of Tenerife, then we’re the place for you! We are a legal hostel, in a prime location not far from El Duque beach (which boasts some of the best sunsets of the whole island) and close to the pretty village of La Caleta and Playa de Los Hippies. We offer shared and private accommodation, which includes an “all you can eat” generous and varied breakfast. The house has a communal kitchen with a separate dining area and a bright, spacious lounge with tv at your disposal. Our peaceful outdoor space has a garden with sun loungers, a small pool, a lovely covered terrace and a BBQ area which hosts our famous Wednesday barbecue nights. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the excursions offered and nightlife lovers will welcome the bars, restaurants and nightclubs, all within walking distance. Our international staff will do everything to welcome you.

Would recommend and come back any time !!

At "Lagarto" numerous activities take place aimed at creating a homely relaxing atmosphere. Aside from the facilities which are meant for sheer relax, such as the garden with swimming-pool, the BBQ area, the communal area with Internet access also equipped to watch films in, the communal kitchen, etc. we also organize other activities such as day-trips, sightseeing tours, surf-trips, bike rental, parties and conferences...
The staff is great, they are amazing and very helpful. Free breakfast with homemade fresh pancakes is brilliant. Very good facilities. Cleanliness could be improved in my opinion, my pillow case was very stinky, I realized it when it was too late to complain. The location for me was just awful, in the middle of nowhere. It is okay if you have a car, then it's not a problem, but I didn't rent a car, so I lost a lot of time and money going out of this area. Just for this I would not stay here again.

Booked this place last minute, so glad I did the house is beautiful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Rooftop terrace is fab you can sit and chill out with some great people I was made to feel very welcome by Johnny and his guests which was good as I was on my own. This is situated literally 5 minutes from the square with bars shops and the cathedral all lovely.... I had a ball going back later in the year if it's not fully booked.

Located in the barrio of Pino Apolinario, this hostel is only 10 minutes away with car of bus from the old city centre of Triana and Vegueta in Las Palmas. The hostel is situated in a old colonial style house, who has been completely renovated and adapted to the needs of the backpacker of the 21st century. This without losing the authenticity of the house.
From the moment we enquired at booking the hostel for our large group we had great service, and this continued as we planned our trip and then visited for 5 nights in May 22. Firstly the hostel is beautiful, homely, comfortable, clean and better than any hostel I have seen before. It is a bus ride away from the city with its sanding beaches of Las Canteras, restaurants and shops but also accessible to the mountains, volcano and other interesting places. What made this place extra special were its hosts, Fernando, Andres and Korneel. They were welcoming, approachable and helpful, just fantastic! This was a work trip, however as individuals we are all excited about returning to the hostel with our families and friends in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Your quiet home straight on the most beautiful beach, surrounded by the best restaurants, bars and shops of the city. Ideal for tourists and digital nomads, strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection provided 24h and a fully equipped kitchen. Stunning sea-view from some of the rooms, without mentioning the amazing rooftop. Some of the rooms have ensuite bathroom, some other shared and the room "La Palma" has even a large private terrace! The ambient is very open, young and cozy: check it out! 200 squared meters of colours, shades and tranquillity, divided in 3 floors and a panoramic rooftop from where you can admire the most spectacular sunsets that Gran Canaria can offer!
The staff was incredibly friendly. From the moment I arrived at the hostel and checked in, I felt just like coming home. The atmosphere is so familiar and welcoming, I wish I could have stayed more days. The roof terrace is super comfy and being able to see the sea from there is just beautiful. The common area and the kitchen were also really nice and clean and the dinners we had together with other guests and the staff were delicious. I immediately made new friends, people from the staff invited me to their activities at the beach and after being there for two days I felt like I know most of them for a long time. The bedroom and the bed were comfortable and it was always quiet during the night, which helped me to get a good rest. The hostel is located right next to the beach which is another thing that I really liked. The surrounding area is calm but there are a lot of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within a few minutes of walking distance. The stay in the hostel really made my time in Las Palmas something very special. All in all, it is a great value for money and if I'm coming back to Gran Canaria I will definitely go back to Tamaran.
