Tiger Trails

Reviewed By tassys2013 - Adelaide, Australia

I did this with a group of friends (7 of us in total), and it was amazing!! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (we were able to book with only two days notice). We had a mixed group of riders (some very confident and others not so much), and they took their time to make sure everyone was comfortable with their horse before we set off; this was very much appreciated by the less experienced riders. The staff all cared deeply about the horses and it showed in their interactions (this is important to me as i value ethical and sustainable tourism). The trail itself was beautiful-stunning landscape views, atop beautifully trained and friendly horses. This was easily the highlight of our trip, and i would highly recommend it to anyone who visit Kangaroo Island.

Short easy drive to the property, easy parking spaces and greeted by friendly Labrador Leo and his owner Margaret. She was polite, friendly and spoke fondly about the horses and the love she had for them. My partner and I had booked a one hour tour ride and it was a great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guides took the time to teach you about your horse and the aspects of how to ride a horse. Stunning scenery and all over a really amazing time!
