Lazio (UK: /ˈlætsioʊ/, US: /ˈlɑːtsioʊ/; Italian: [ˈlatsjo]; Latin: Latium) is one of the 20 administrative regions of Italy. Situated in the central peninsular section of the country, it has almost 5.9 million inhabitants – making it the second most populated region of Italy (after Lombardy and just a little ahead of Campania) – and its GDP of more than 170 billion euros per annum means that it has the nation's second largest regional economy. The capital of Lazio is Rome, which is also Italy's capital and the country's largest city.

Our guide, Nicolette, was so knowledgeable and fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the 3-hour tour. I was sad when it was over. My 11 and 13 yr old liked it too but it was a little long for them, not at the fault of the guide one bit, just their age.

All of the experience was breathtaking. The whole park is amazing and very well kept. The guide was very good at not annoying my children that went through a three and a half hour guided tour! Luckily the weather was good and not too warm. This helped a lot. The park is full of shaded areas and water fountains anyway. Recommended tour.

Wish we had read the reviews before booking. Palermo is quite small and most the main sights are very central, so you don’t really need a bus tour. However, even if you are not keen on walking, the bus tour will be of little use, as the advertised ‘hop on, hop off, every 20 minutes’ is simply untrue. The bus only arrives every 90 minutes (we lunched in a restaurant next to the stop we alighted from and that was the time gap). In addition, there is no access to a live map for bus arrivals, so you have no idea when the next bus will arrive. In a nutshell, it’s a rip off.

Wonderful tour of St Peters finishing with the cistine chapel with Alessandro. Once again this guide was first class in his delivery and knowledge of the place. Sean the boss of Angel Tours was excellent with his communications and I thoroughly recommend this company, will definitely use again.

You are paying for a €32 ticket to the 3 sites. An app downloaded onto your phone. Walked to the only entrance (sure we could have found it!) And shown the way in! The 'Audio guide' turned out to be 5.5 minutes of Janet and John info about the colosseum split in 3 sections! 5.5 minutes? Terrible. Was expecting an audio 'guide' as we passed places or items, some dramatic music maybe. Not 5.5 minutes of dribble i already knew from school or watching Gladiator. Didn't even bother for the other 2 sites. So we paid over £60 for a really really poor app, a 300mtr walk to the entrance and a ticket that can be bought elsewhere for €32! Do not buy this tour. Do the official one or a proper guided tour. Other people seemed to be enjoying these. Really disappointed although the actual Colosseum itself is amazing! FYI. Palatine Hill = 10mins Roman Forum = 20mins (maybe wish i'd listened to this one but was too p'd off from the Colosseum!) Colosseum = 5.5mins Will be complaining to Tripadvisor as i bought this through the site and don't think they should be promoting / advertising it!
