If you want to learn about one of the foremost leaders of the Civil Rights movement right here in Central Florida, do not miss this place. And I strongly recommend that you come in February during Black History Month and attend an event where the Cultural Center Coordinator, Sonya Mallard tells the story of the Moores. If that doesn't move you, then I don't know what will. #NeverForget!

Don't miss this Grand Old Lady sitting High on the Indian River. She has been keeping watch for over 125 years and appreciates all the attention and Love that is being showered upon her since a group of dedicated volunteers took up the fight to save this treasure.

America's first national museum and memorial dedicated to all police in Federal, State, County and Local Departments killed in the line of duty.
A wonderful well done memorial to our fallen officers. The staff was very helpful in locating officers from home town.. See actual electric chair and gas chamber.. Worth spend a couple hours.

I took my son here and he had a lot of questions, there are many that can not be fully detailed in an explanation as he is 4. I do however think that is important for him to see and hear of all that so many have fought for and died for and been left wounded for. It is a beautiful park with memorials and museum and if your on the Island you should stop by.

Our guided tours of the interior of the Rossetter House Museum, the Houston Cemetery, and the gardens include an entertaining and informative discussion of the history of Eau Gallie, the Rossetter Family, and the Roesch Family. We also offer several events throughout the year. Go to our website rossetterhousemuseum or our official Facebook Page Rossetter House Museum for more information on these special events.
I bumped into this place while riding through the Eau Galle district of Melbourne, FL and had no idea what a treasure it was. I also had no idea that the house and families who inhabited it were so instrumental in developing the area. Our tour guide, Barbara really knew her history and provided many stories of the house, local history, grounds, and familes in the house. I would definitely recommend visiting this house if you are into history, particularly local history. Definitely worth the time to visit. Had no idea this is an event venue for weddings, showers, and other gatherings, too. Many interesting plants on the grounds, too.

Envisioned as a place where American astronauts are remembered and honored, visitors can learn about the lives of space heroes through compelling displays. Created by the Mercury Seven astronauts, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® inductees are selected by special committee of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
Fantastic exhibits! The stories are incredible. The pictures are one of a kind. The history is evident and on display. Wonderful exhibit.
