WOW! There is so much to see that it's overwhelming. Can't imagine doing this without a guide. We started early and was able to see the highlights of the gallery together with our guide's personal insight. The small group together with audio headsets worked out really well.

Sunday early morning, grey and chilly air... "Daytime sleep is like the sin of the flesh" The mountain was hided by a low cloud but when we went up, here we are, the abbeys appear on top of the rock, strong and proud, majestic even and so humble at the same time. We made the tour on our own and we enjoyed a lot, following our instinct and timing. We just had to be out of the church by midday because of the Sunday mass - obvious. It is a touristic place but used by living monks! Don't forget, it is a beautiful location but most of all a religious mecca, a strong spiritual location on the Saint Michaels's line. I'll go back on Spring for sure. “Love is wiser than wisdom.” Umberto Eco

This tour is a visit to more than 50 buildings (in 1:45/2 hours) in a pictoresque district with cobbled streets not far from the city center. It is designed for those who want to see a different and not-turisty side of Turin's architecture, concentrated in one compact district with painted facades and windows, artistic benches and even a street painting gallery. Do you know that it's the first open-air contemporary art museum in an urban center in Italy (and most of people of Turin do not know it)? The wall paintings increase year by year, they have very different styles, materials, supports, techniques: you will certainly not get bored! I studied Art History at Turin's University and will share with you all my knowledge, but I would like you to express our opinion too, we will make comparisons and learn together, in an informal experience with your LOCAL FRIEND. And no big groups, because I want to give 100% of my attention to everyone. Being a teacher of Italian for foreigners, you can practice your Italian and ask me whatever you like about Italian culture, lifestyle, etc. I'll be happy to satisfy your curiosity! IMPORTANT: THE SCHEDULE YOU SEE IS PURELY INDICATIVE. ✓✓✓ Please WRITE to me BEFORE booking (to +39 33 94 60 48 85 or here in the section Q&A) since, depending on your time availability and language, maybe another day/hour would fit you better and I could ask you to change the day (the tour can be in 4 language). I will answer as soon as I can!

We stayed in touring just for one night on our way to Milan and we thought that an evening tour would have been the best way to see the city, especially under the night light. Our guide was so knowledgeable, very useful because she gave us much practical information and make us see the city with a local point of view. We enjoy it and got the best of the city for a very affordable price. Super recommended!

This tour is focused on the past and present beauty of Turin in terms of architecture, cuisine and lifestyle for those who want to understand the charme of this (still) underrated city in only 2 hours, under the magic of the evening lights or in the lively lunch hour. We'll visit the Medieval / Roman district, with their pictoresque cobblestone streets and typical taverns too, the market and its hidden gems, the oldest part of Turin and where real people live. With me you'll see a less touristic face of Turin, not easy to discovery on your own. You'll see Turin in the evening if you choose the schedule 6:30-8:30pm (or even after dinner), but it's also possible to do it around noon (11:30-1:30). Simply WRITE me BEFORE booking in order to set together the best time and price. I recommend this tour those want to understand the city with a local who knows many fascinating stories and unique places that you could not otherwise find. My style is ironical, informal, friendly and interactive: forget about the guides with the umbrella, their list of dates and big groups, because I want to give 100% of my attention to everyone. Consider me like your playful and funny LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide! The tour and its schedule are customizable, if possible, in order to plan the itinerary according to your needs. IMPORTANT ✓✓✓ Please WRITE to me BEFORE booking (in the Questions & Answers or to +39 33 94 60 48 85) since the tour can be in 4 different languages, another day or hour can fit you better and I could ask you to change the day. I will answer as soon as I can!

Marzia and Melissoula are awesome! They received me in their house and they treated me as part of the family. I wanted to visit Turin and practise my Italian, but unfortunately we couldn't go out because of the pandemic. Instead, I had a great time with them at home, we talked about the world and we could even practise different language, too (Marzia also speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese). I really appreciate all your kindness and I hope I come back soon to finish my tour around the city! Thank you so much for both of you!! :) Vico

We had the pleasure of meeting Paolo who walked us through the history of the castle and the wine-making process. We got to taste wine at the different stages. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the factors that affect each element of the wine and explained things in a very clear manner. The tasting was outstanding, showcasing the differences between the grapes grown just a few meters away from each other. We loved the experience and would highly recommend it as a couple’s activity or with friends.

The museum is world class; the quality of the material presented and the style of presentation are both of a high order. BUT, the guided tour is in italian language only; no effort is made to provide other languages, even in a recorded format, even English. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

The Museo Egizio in Turin has one of the largest collections of Egyptian artefacts in the world, after the Cairo Museum. This museum is certainly somewhere you must visit if you are in Turin and indeed is one of the “must see” museums in the whole of Italy. With an expert guide you will appreciate the very best of the treasures on display. On this 2.5 hour tour in the company of a very knowledgeable guide you take a journey back in time to see mummies, hieroglyphs and papyrus. Your guide will tell you about the golden age in Egypt, learn about the Gods they worshipped, the kind of life they led and the ingenuity of the people who built the pyramids. Amongst the many wonderful archaeological finds there is the intact tome of Kha and Merit and “the Royal List” that contains the name of all the pharaohs and of course a sphinx. This private tour is highly recommended so that you make the most of your visit to this fascinating museum.
