This is a fabulous tour company to work with. I booked this independently of the cruise line as we do not prefer the larger groups the cruise lines typically have. We booked Chilkoot Lake Nature and Wildlife viewing. After booking this, we inquired about having enough time to see the Summit and Bridge. The owner responded back quickly and offered to arrange that for us as well. I was happy not to have to find another tour operator. The day itself went seamlessly. We were greeted off the ship, by Paul, met the other 2 people on our tour and escorted to the fast ferry to Haynes. Jen ,our tour guide, met us off ferry and we headed out. We were not long into our travels when we saw a brown bear fishing in the river. We saw many eagles perched in trees but not in flight as they appeared to not prefer to fly in the rain!We were able to view the Rainbow glacier with some breaks In The cloud cover. Jen was interesting, and knowledgeable. Paul was there to meet us for the second part of our day, which was a private tour. Paul explained the history of the area as we drove through town. We chatted, asked questions and Paul was able to answer them all. When we arrived at the bridge , it was almost closing time but we were expected. The amazing thing about this was we were the ONLY people there at that time. Our pictures were amazing as there are no other people in the background. We hope to return to the area in the future and will definitely use this company again!

This tour was well worth the money. Our guide, Brian, regaled us with fascinating historical, personal and local information and stories. The drive around the town and up the historic mountain pass was more flexible and offered more photographic moments than the more expensive train ride. The weather was rainy and foggy, but the experience was still the highlight of our trip.

My family of 6 (2 adults and kids ages: 15, 12, 11 and 8) really enjoyed the zip lining tour. It was super fun and the guides made it even more exciting with their funny jokes and activities. The guides were excellent - very knowledgable, helpful, patient and super funny. The timing (half day) was perfect (not too long not too short). They also offered a funny tour of the area while we drove to the sight. I highly recommend. If you are there say hi to Austin, Tina, Dylan and Kyle (best guides ever!)

Leave the crowds of Skagway behind and join a small group tour (14 maximum) to nearby Dyea. In 1898, Dyea boasted over 8,000 residents and had a busy Main Street crowded with gold-crazed miners. What little of the town remaining today has been taken over by nature. This area is protected as part of the Klondike National Historical Park. Start with a scenic, nine-mile drive along the rocky seacoast. Every month brings something different to Dyea. Wildflowers, migrating salmon, harbor seals, bald eagles and even the occasional brown bear each peak at different times. Your naturalist guide knows the area well and knows the best places to get out of the vehicle to take it all in. The tour highlight is a half-mile walk along a flat trail lined with fragrant spruce trees and wildflowers that once was Dyea’s Main Street. You’ll return to your ship with more than photos. You’ll have gained an appreciation of the impermanence of man and the profound and lasting power of Alaska nature.
