Gettysburg is steeped in the history of the Civil War. In 1863, it was the site of the epic Battle of Gettysburg, in which some 50,000 soldiers were killed. It is also, of course, the place where Abraham Lincoln delivered the immortal Gettysburg Address. The town itself is made up of houses, hotels and taverns dating back several centuries, but Gettysburg offers more modern travel and leisure activities, as well, like wine tastings, orchard tours, shopping and golfing.

My cousin and I really enjoyed our Ghost Walk with Marcus. Marcus did an very good job balancing our focus between the history of certain Gettysburg locations and what hauntings had occured in those places. He was quick to answer our questions and made us laugh several times. We both really enjoyed hearing about the history and hauntings of Gettysburg.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and added great color to the events that happened during the battle. He gave a very clear picture of what both sides were seeing. He gave insight on what was happening with the towns people as well. I really don't think a self guided or auto tour would have given me as much information. I highly recommend this tour especially since the day we were there the visitor center was closed.

Quinton gave detailed accounts on the sheer brutality and conditions arising from the Civil War in the town of Gettysburg. This has information the history books don’t tell you. I highly recommend this tour for history buffs, supernatural skeptics and ghost hunters! I still cannot explain these blue orbs my camera picked up on this tour.

It’s was a great tour but needs to be scarier. You need to have more spooky, haunted things on the tour. Other than that it was a nice informative tour.
