It really wants to walk the lanes of a medieval city in Europe! Extremely peculiar in away. Madu River is situated in the south of Sri Lanka close Galle. The water of the waterway is specked with little islands and the banks are altogether secured with lavish mangrove timberlands that are home to many unbelievable creature species. Appreciate many dynamic tropical winged animals and a couple of crocodiles in case you're fortunate enough. These animals are quite uncommon and don't care for groups.

Super little day trip, we saw lots of monkeys up close as well as have a little fresh fruit picnic breakfast by a little island, boat driver was really knowledgeable and informative. The “English speaking” driver who picked us up from our hotel arrived was almost an hour late and wasn’t very chatty... The included lunch was ok, but nothing special.

We had such an exciting day. Picked up early by our driver and driven to the park in a jeep. We saw so many animals up close but seeing the leopard was an amazing experience as it walked right in front of our jeep!! Our driver collected a lovely Sri Lankan picnic for lunch which we ate beside a fabulous beach before heading black out on safari. Very well organised trip.

The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)
