Doolin (Irish: Dúlainn) is a coastal village in County Clare, Ireland, on the Atlantic coast. It borders the spa town of Lisdoonvarna. It is a noted centre of traditional Irish music, which is played nightly in its pubs, making it a popular tourist destination. There are numerous nearby archaeological sites, many dating to the Iron Age and earlier. Doonagore Castle and Ballinalacken Castle are also in the area. The area was officially classified as part of the West Clare Gaeltacht (an Irish-speaking community) until 1956, and, due to trade with the Aran Islands, maintained a strong connection to it until the 1990s.

This expertly guided road trip, along 1100km of ever-changing landscape, along The Wild Atlantic Way is a great way to explore Ireland. Take in Clonmacnoise, once a huge monastic city; kiss the Blarney Stone and get the gift of the ‘gab’ (talk); handy for getting to know your small tour group. Then how about Kinsale harbour where wild, Red Snapper and John Dory fight it out to be your catch of the day and into The Ring of Kerry, with only the Atlantic separating the 40 shades from the 50 U.S. states. Cool down with Fungie, Dingle’s resident dolphin who came for the fish in 1984 and stayed for the craic or stand on The Cliffs of Moher and feel you’re at the edge of the world. And in between the heritage and culture, there’ll be ceol agus craic (music and boldness), seafood and banter, city (Galway) and island hopping (Aran)and an epic road-trip you’ll never forget.

Unfortunately due to COVID, our trip to IRELAND was canceled. However, I still wanted to leave a review to give praise to Eamonn. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind during all of our correspondence. I would recommend him just based on his honesty and integrity, he returned our deposit plus supplied me with websites to gain more information for our trip. I can't wait to get to Dublin to meet him and rely on his expertise to see the country. He made the trip planning seamless and stress-free! 5 stars well deserved.

I took a day tour with Darby O'Gill some time ago and today i found the card in my bag. Despite the delay I thought is still worth it to write a review. It was one of the best bus day tours i have ever had. We started in Dublin and drove in the countryside. The nature was beautiful and totally worth seeing. The bus amenities were great. We had enough stops and still enough time to enjoy everything. Our driver, Eary (I hope this is right) was incredible. He entertained us during the entire day in a unique way. We both laughed a lot and learned things about our trip and Ireland in general. I really hope he still does the tours so that one day i can return and enjoy the trip once again. Prices were also good comparing with Dublin prices!

My husband and I have traveled to Europe over a dozen times in the last twenty years. We’ve always traveled independently doing our own research and making our own reservations. We’re very comfortable taking public transportation in Europe and have also driven rental cars. A few years ago, we started purchasing small group or private tours for day trips and museum tours. We find them to be a great value for the personalized experience you receive. The key is doing your research ahead of time and finding the right tour company for you. For our trip to Ireland in August 2019, I found several highly-rated companies that offered day trips in southern Ireland. We ended up selecting MunsterBus Tours and had a fantastic experience. We booked with MunsterBus Tours because of their good customer reviews and excellent customer service in planning the trip – specifically my interactions with Linda Conway. Linda and I emailed back and forth to plan our two day trips for 4 adults. She was very responsive and professional (with a nice sense of humor). She took the time to really think about the information I sent her and then responded with detailed information and personalized itinerary options for us to consider. I also emailed Linda while in Ireland for advice with something not related to our day trips and she responded immediately with very helpful suggestions. Great customer service! We were also delighted to find the actual day trips were very enjoyable. Our driver and guide for both days was Craig. He was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and a very good driver. He did a great job balancing informing us, entertaining us (we had fun singing Irish songs) and giving us quiet time. Craig made our time in southern Ireland even more enjoyable. When we return to continue our exploration, we will definitely use MunsterBus Tours!!

We start our adventures in the west of Ireland, where we travel through beautiful Connemara, one of the beautiful remote regions of Ireland. Then it's on to Galway, Ireland's trendy party capital on the west coast! Enjoy a pint or two in the great traditional pubs of Galway. We continue our adventures as we travel down the west coast, with the highlight of the drive being time to visit the Cliffs of Moher - at 214m high, these cliffs were the Cliffs of Insanity in the movie Princess Bride! We continue to County Kerry, and the magical town of Killarney. A priceless opportunity to get to know the charming Irish people a little better! Onward to the Dingle Peninsula! Rugged mountains, romantic sandy beaches and crystal cascades sparkle as the Paddywagon cruises into the lovely Dingle Peninsula, and we stay overnight in the charming village of Annascaul. We also kiss the Blarney Stone on our return to Dublin. You cant beat this for value, a great 4 days!
Inclusions: Breakfast, Dinner, Breakfast, 3 nights accommodation (Galway, Dingle Peninsula, Killarney), Fun Professional Guide, Live commentary on board, Transport by air conditioned coach, WiFi on board, USB Ports at every seat
Exclusions: Gratuities, Lunch, Dinner
I am also waiting for a refund from Paddywagon. It has been 10 months and I still get the same response that they can't access their funds due to Covid. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

We did the half day tour starting at Dingle. Picked up at Heatons excellent guest house, drove the headlands in driving rain and wind, but still a fantastic trip. Tour of beehive huts, famed beaches, and Oratory. Spring would be grand with LOTS of fuschias.
