This square represents the true heart of Sarajevo, a place where all axes of teh Old Town interesect - almost like Cardo and Decumanus in some antique Roman town.. It is decorated with the Pope John Paul II statue, in front of Sarajevos' Cathedral - a work of one of outr most important architects, Joip Vancas.
