Considered a masterpiece of Romanesque art, this abbey church was built in 1007 and features a crypt containing sculptures dating from the eleventh century.
This lovely church has a beautiful mosaic tiled roof, which looked different depending on the sun and time of day. My favourite church in the city.

Built 5 centuries ago, MAISON MILLIERE is a perfect example of medieval architecture with its basket-handle-sharped arcade, is Saint André cross half-timberings and its sculpted décorations. MAISON MILLIERE is a warm and authentic place, ideal for a meal between friends, nice light meals, a quality glass of Burgundian wine or a tea from every part of the world. You'll also find local products, arts and craft, jewels and gift.
While exploring the city, we found this wonderful place and reserved the table in garden for dinner. Pierre, our waiter, was very helpful with both the food and the wine. We ordered Burgundy beef and it was truly delicious. When we come back, we will not hesitate to order the same dish. Highly recommend this place.
