This town in the very center of England is perhaps best known for its association with the legend of Robin Hood. The men in tights are long gone, though—today, you’ll find a modern city with a fantastic playhouse, ice hockey arena, and many, many shops and clubs.

A fantastic experience - learning how to make a headdress using local, natural foliage whilst enjoying a delicious vegan scone and refreshing drink. I have learnt a new skill and will continue to practice being creative with natural materials. The relaxed atmosphere and quality instructions made the experience very enjoyable indeed!

The earliest built brick building in the county. Built by Sir William Pierrepont in 1500 and still lived in by his descendants, the house surrounds a Courtyard Garden of 1875 possibly influenced by Nesfield on three sides with the local Parish Church of St Edmund on the fourth. The East Garden which was laid out in 1973 has a winter flower garden full of snowdrops, aconites, daffodils and hellebores among other plants. The wild Tulipa Sylvestris which has been here since the 17th century flowers in the park. The house has family portraits and regional furniture and welcomes groups on guided tours throughout the year. The house is also available for weddings, meetings, seminars and other such events.
We love Holme Pierrepont Hall, it's a brilliant place for a day trip whether you enjoy water activities or just taking in the scenery.

Logiclock is an entertaining puzzle-based live escape game; a new form of entertainment, designed for small groups of 3-5 people. The goal is simple: escape from the room or series of rooms in 60 minutes using only the mind, logic and teamwork, solving all the puzzles and mysteries.
We did the science room, for a birthday treat. Fantastic experience, great to share with family as everyone contributed and we managed to escape with 44 seconds to spare! We are already planning to come back and do the pirate room! Lucy was a fantastic host.

ONE TEAM. ONE ROOM. ONE HOUR. ONE GOAL Can you prove yourself worthy against the ticking clock? Locked in a room filled with puzzles, clues and riddles, you have 60 minutes to work as a team with just one goal... ESCAPE!
It felt a bit like a crystal maze experience. The challenge transforms you into another world for a short while and it is exciting whilst you are taking on the challenge in a team, thinking hard and trying to solve the puzzle and mysteries logically. We did the contraption room and it was a great experience ???? Definitely recommend a visit to the Escape Rooms!

Are you looking for something to do with friends, family or colleagues? Something other than the generic activities of bowling, cinema, eating or drinking? If you enjoy solving problems, answering riddles and using your brain rather than your brawn: this activity is for you.
I absolutely love this place! The staff are so lovely! We had Sam as our Games Master for both our games... Daylight robbery.... amazing... I love the fact you are in the room for nearly the full hour... you have to steal as much money as you can which are all puzzles to get more loot. Absolutely brilliant idea, absolutely brilliant room, absolutely brilliant! Sam was a brilliant GM and this room was special as it was our 50th room & also the room where I was proposed to. I was completely unaware but Sam was brilliant as I didn't suspect a thing! The room was incredible though and I cannot thank Sam and also Mark enough! Dreamscape was also a great room, very interesting and different which we loved, collecting dream keys along the way in multiple rooms was a great new escape room experience for us! Again another great room. We will 1000% be back to do the other rooms! Absolutely incredible place and staff!

This is a small but fascinating museum, showing the social, industrial and political history of the time showing changes from home working to automation how the making how this important craft impacted on the community who lived and worked here. Ned Ludd became the local hero and the start of workers rights. There are two cottages here, showing the stark contrast between the living conditions of the manager and a workers cottage. Make sure you look in the drawers as there are beautiful examples of knitting and lace. You can use one of the machines to knit and is suitable for children. My guide was very informative and answered all my questions. Even though I visited quite late in the day there didn't feel rushed. There is a little shop, (and bought the most beautiful scarf) and quirky tea room which is reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
