Sala Nezahualcoyotl

Having been last summer to the Konzerthus in Stockholm, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Barbicon in London and Symphony Hall in Berlin, both very fine, I can say that Nezahuaycoyotl is as good as any hall I have seen - and I have been in ALL the major halls in the US. The sight lines here are excellent and the acoustic is superb. It is beautiful, functional and welcoming - one of the great treasures of Mexico City.

Museo del Tiempo Tlalpan

This is a wonderful and fascinating place! My favorite part was the various music machines (Edison's phonograph, radios, an art deco jukebox) and they are in working condition so you get to listen to music! Our tour guide Marion was fantastic and spoke perfect English. Be sure to have 5 pesos so you can use the jukebox. This a cash-only museum.
