A wonderful and personable tour which covered Gin and Whisky making in Iceland’s only distillery. Our tour guide “Rock” covered the brief history of the distillery very well with amusing anecdotes and dipped into Icelandic history and myths. A very well balanced tour and enough Gin and Whisky sampling to keep everyone happy! The whisky is in it’s infancy but it is a great starting point and I can’t recommend the tour enough!

I found this waterfall by pure chance, and what I then saw was an example there still exist places on this planet that will take your breath away. I believe that the public shouldn't be allowed here because it feels magical in the sense that there is nothing like it on the planet. The masses tend to go to seljalandsfoss but they don't know what they are missing (especially since it's only a 10min walk away) all I'm gonna say is that you will need to walk inside the river up through a canyon approx 20-30mtrs before you get presented with the biggest surprise of your lives. This angelic waterfall falls from the ceiling above you. I can honestly say hand on heart, that of how you don't visit this place you're a fool. At the same time it's better for me so next time I visit, it shall remain less touched/visited by the public. Which is fine by me! If you do go you will need, waterproof footwear at least and depending on how close to the fall you wanna go, a rain jacket too. You guys can thank me later. Your welcome

Like St Fagan's in Wales this venue preserves Iceland's historic buildings and was a lovely place to visit with the fresh snow fall. Staff were very friendly and helpful, chatting about the structures and Icelandic culture, they also kindly gave us free coffee.

This sculpture garden and museum is steps away from the landmark Hallgrimskirkja church. It's filled with interesting, thought provoking art. The garden is calm and secluded from the outside noise of tourists visiting the church. One of my favourite places in Reykjavik. This garden with sculptures and the nearby museum have something magical. Free entrance to the garden , so definitely don't miss it.

As many other things in Iceland, this place is very special and very beautiful. This beautiful place is one of my favourite places in the whole country. Spectacular trails, make sure to allocate good chunk of time to explore the shoreline. Dramatic coastline, waves pounding on rocks and cliff faces, not too many tourists. It's such a beautiful and magical place. Great place for traveling and photography purpose. Stunning beauty. Mother nature at her best.

One of the most peaceful & beautiful places to visit in the city. We came in June & the amount of flora was unbelievable some of the plant life here is breathtaking. The smell of fresh flowers & sounds of bird life will make you want to stay for hours especially considering they have a beautifully designed cafe in the centre.

The nature of Iceland is so majestic that anywhere you point the camera you will have the best and most scenic photos. The Myrdalsjokull glacier is one of these amazing spots. Vik village and its surroundings are among my favourite regions in the country.
