We are a family-friendly bookshop (both new and secondhand) and art gallery. Exhibitions change regularly. We are also the home of the annual book art competition, the Biblio Art Prize. We also host music, performances and book talks - please email us if you have any ideas! We encourage people to come in and spend time browsing, settle on a couch with a book, play a game of chess, give the pianola a go, and we have a great train track set for the kids! Open daily through January. Thus - Mon 11-5 all other times.
Such a beautiful place, every corner has something else to delight your eyes or brain. Enter through a spectacular orange door to a gallery of intriguing artworks regularly updated, then into the bookshop, a converted Masonic hall that makes superb use of light and warm timber colours as well as a rainbow of decorations. Books to satisfy every possible desire and very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Didn't even mind me playing their piano while my kids perused books and played with the train set.

A lovely short walk amongst these interesting trees and fern forest despite the rain easily accessible from the parking lot enroute to Apollo bay.

Nice drive up to the falls followed but a short walk to see them. Be prepared for steep steps awkwardly spaced so if you have leg joint issues dont take on the steps. Once down you can try and walk across the creek and closer to the falls but beware it can be very slippery.

Even with bad knees the very short walk up the nicely spaced stairs was doable. Dogs loved it. View nothing to die for but if in area worth a peak.

Then take a walk around the sanctuary to observe more animals in a free range environment. The park is located 20 minutes from the Twelve Apostles. Allocate at least 30 minutes for your visit.Admission prices:adults $22.00, Concession $17.00, Child $10.00, Family $55.00
This was a fantastic full-day tour. It was a small group of 11 with Lizzy as our guide. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The drive was fantastic. We saw koalas in their natural habitat, had a beautiful walk in a rain forest and coffee and cookies in the national park. This was all capped off by going to see the 12 Apostles and Shipwreck Beach. This was amazing!

Dairy farmers Julian and Dianne Benson launched Apostle Whey Cheese on October 29, 2005. Since that day, Apostle Whey Cheese has taken out a number of major cheese awards and become an important tourism drawcard for the region. Just a short drive from the Twelve Apostles and the Great Ocean Road, Apostle Whey Cheese is a genuine paddock to plate operation.
For a $1 a person you could taste 12 different types of cheese all made by Apostle whey. Not fancy in their approach but great cheese! They know and produce lots cheese rather than simply sell cheese made by various farms in Vic and SA. Not only that but our visit also coincided with the late afternoon milking of the cows which was a wonderful experience for our toddler to see in the shed next door. All 4 of our children enjoyed making their own flavoured milk with the Apostle Whey milk they sold there as well. All in all it was one of our favourite stops on the 12 Apostles Gourmet trail. Not fancy but very real with friendly people. A very family friendly place!!!!

Only 5 minutes or so off the Great Ocean Road with a small car park and very short walk to the lookout point which offers a stunning view of the coastline and Great Ocean Road. Worth combining with Erskine Falls which is only a short drive away.

Located on the eastern side of town and assessed by road, followed by a 900 metre quite steep walk that takes you to the lookout that offers spectacular 180 degree views of the coast

Well worth the trip, the track leading to it can be quite muddy in winter so make sure you’re wearing appropriate footwear unlike myself at the time but so glad I went

A 1.5km loop through a dense forest with massive fern trees and trees that touch the clouds. After 500m you reach the cascades and then another 200m later you see the remains of the big tree which fell in 2009. Then the loop takes you around the other side of the gully back to the car parking area which has a grass area with tables and toilets. We saw many different mushrooms and the local Otway black snail. Apparently there are Platypuses and glow worms here too. An absolutely beautiful place.
