Horse treks run on a working high country sheep and cattle farm at the foot of the Southern Alps and only 1 hour from Christchurch City - various treks available with 1hour, 2hour, 3hour and full day.
Me and my girlfriend went on the 2 hour trek with Chris and Sarah, they managed the varying experience levels really well within the group and were really easy to talk to! I’d definitely recommend for the people and the views!

We had an amazing afternoon with Neil and Sandra for my husband’s birthday. Right from the initial communications/planning stages everything went super smoothly. Neil was a fantastic instructor-super patient with adults and children alike, and wonderfully enthusiastic when anyone managed to actually hit a clay/target!...And surprisingly we all managed to hit at least one. We loved his dog Teddy too! Really hope to come back and repeat the fun -we will definitely do it again. Thanks so much guys!

What a fabulous experience. Truly felt pampered from the welcome with ginger tea, the romantic spa bath with loads of bubbles, cold drinks and nibbles to the long massage. We each had a different type of massage. One was more relaxing as the knots were released and eased away. The other much firmer to try and relieve the serious tension - two days later we are feeling the benefits. They asked us through out the massage if the pressure was OK and adjusted accordingly. Impeccable service would definitely like to return.

Step inside one of our exceptionally themed rooms and work your way through a series of challenging, fun puzzles, codes and riddles to 'escape' You have 60 Minutes to solve the theme of the room by using problem your best communication, problem solving, logical mind! We also welcome larger groups and families.
I completed both fbi and the Tesla room, the fbi was fun and enjoyable very worth it. The Tesla room was out of this world!! I have now completed 40 rooms and this one was the best by far, even compared to the ones in Bali and Thailand that I have done, the technology used is amazing, I wish I could say more but I don’t want to spoil anything. The staff are very friendly and if I could give this a higher rating I would. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. (And I know a thing or two about escape rooms) Well done!

Two great choices of outrageous fun on 3 wheels: -Wind powered blokart (land yachts) and Electric Driftkarts. We have two purpose built tracks in Christchurch where you can hire a kart and have some fun with family, friends and colleagues. Blokarts are an amazingly inclusive activity for all ages (8 to 80+) and abilities. We have 2 person karts for those who aren't quite able to go it alone or prefer to share the experience. Being powered by nature ticks the sustainability box for guilt free fun. Grab a group of 6-12 people and try our our unique Human Foosball, the only one of it's kind in Christchurch. Just like the table game except you are the players. Hilarious fun and as competitive as you want this complements our energy efficient activities, harnessing Human Power. Fun for all, individuals and groups.
Excellent outfit; very attentive, understanding (when the conditions during the holidays weren't up to scratch for the karts to really go - winds too light - they were more than happy to rebook the time for another day when there was more action free, which was great!). My 3 younger kids had an absolute blast, and loved it (second time around when there was enough wind to go properly!). I would highly recommend this to anyone - I consider it really good value for money. Really friendly and helpful staff; really good equipment and set up. Definitely going again!

We have moved and expanded. The museum is now NZ Museum of Toys & Collectibles and the Toy Collector operates as the museum shop. The museum display is the result of 50 years of collecting of a broad range of toys as possible. This isn't exactly a museum in that the toys are not all old and they aren't all in pristine condition since toys are meant to be played with. An eclectic collection of toys through the ages designed to put a smile on your face and remind you of childhood days of playing whether recent or very distant. You are sure to find something you had, have or always wanted in the broad range of displays.
We had read a little about this place but weren't expecting to find such a gem. Well laid out and a fascinating collection with thousands of Hot Wheels, a room full of diecast cars, a huge lego collection plus Disney and Harry Potter!! The train layout was fantastic. So much to look at we will definitively be back.
