The food was great. The service was extraordinary. Everything felt as fine dining, except it was only modestly priced and a comfortable, relaxed feel. We really enjoyed dinner here. My wife and two daughters travel a lot more and we have come to rely upon tripadvisor so I am making it a point to review places that are worth eating to help others with recommendations and also to ensure these great places are recognized for their excellence.

The food at Eat My Trip was good. I would not say it was the best brunch I've had in Barcelona, but it was unique! I had the pancake tacos and my boyfriend had a bowl (I liked his more) The ambiance is lovely and the staff is friendly. We had an unfortunate occurrence where our order wasn't taken appropriately and we ended up waiting ONE hour to get the food. Apparently it never made it into the system they first time around, so they submitted it 45 minutes into us waiting and then it arrived about 15 min later. Not only were we starving at that point, but we had plans to attend outside of Barcelona so it delayed the whole process by a solid two hours. Wish we had a better experience here, but we get it .. mistakes happen.

We discovered this place based on TA reviews and this is second time we have eaten here and we have not been disappointed! Aitor Xavir, Xavi and Helga were all wonderful! Unfortunately the servant was working all alone in the restaurant. It was full when we got there. He was running around trying his best. Thankfully the chef took care of the taste. We just wanted to try because of trip comments. But come on...this is only a revisited kebab! Like you can find all around the Centre of Barcelona! And for better price! Barcelona offers plenty of real gastronomic places which really deserve high ratings. So please people I strongly recommend you to enjoy authentic spanish food since you come to spain and not to india!!!

Well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and the 11 Euros menu is unbelievable value and really tasty.Close to the bus station so it should be the first thing you do when you get off the bus or the last thing you do before getting the bus.

After arriving to Barcelona we entered Somewhere to have some lunch. The place was fully booked but an extremely friendly waitress arranged a table for us. Restaurant is nicely decorated, relaxed and cozy. We ordered a veggie burger and pork burrito. Food was tasty and innovative and although it was a busy day we did not have to wait too long. Price for two dishes and two beers + water was about 24 euros, not bad. Special mentions for a most friendly and efficient service. Great place!

I think the idea of slow food is all good and well, but here they take the experience to a whole other level. I've been here a few times because it's convenient for meeting people. Whenever I go, I am shocked at how slow they are at taking orders and, heavenly patience, actually serving. Today was just a joke, but totally in line with previous experiences. It obviously took them 10 min or more to even bother taking our order, despite a neatly empty place. Alas, we ordered 4 coffees and some pastries and it took them... 10 min? 15 min? 20 min?... seriously??? So we try to get the waiters attention, which is not easy because he has that well trained technique of dashing to one of the other few tables carefully avoiding any eye or ear contact, less you interrupt their hectic nothingness...So...25 min it is... still no coffees. Can it really be that Santa Clara will take half an hour to make two 'cortados' and two café con leche? Of course it can! So I stand up and go inside to chase up this super complicated order... astonished at seeing no more than four other tables being used but at least 3 or 4 waiters... floating around. And here comes the punchline... when I ask the guy about our coffees, he quite casually answers that he knows, sure, "they're on their way"... so seeing these people are taking the piss I decide to do the same ... I ask for a two more coffees and a fresh juice and a bikini sandwich and then we all leave to Central Park cafe across the street.
