Great steak, great wine, great people. Three locations in Guatemala - Zone 10, Cayalá and Majadas Once
Nice atmosphere- we were here for a business dinner. We went to three different restaurants for dinner during our trip, and this one was my favorite. We ordered several appetizers which were all fantastic- try the ceviche. Several in my group had the steak and only have positive things to say. I had the tuna and watermelon, and it was wonderful. The menu reflected the local cuisine, but had plenty of familiar items. They offered menus in English which was also super helpful. Plenty of drink options, including some specialty cocktails. We steered clear of water (tap/ ice) and fresh raw vegetables to be safe as we did throughout our trip.

Traditional and gourmet Guatemalan food set on a large "palapa"style architecture. Upscale traditional decoration, local music and waiters with typical outfits; great for turists, out of town clients, families and local foodies. A wonderful Guatemalan exp
While looks a bit touristy at first we found this restaurant is worth a try given its excellent food both for local and some internationals. The most striking part of this restaurant is the decoration and place itself with the giant grass-roof house that makes you feel pleasant and a bit romantic.

Located right next door to the Holiday Inn with both English and Spanish menus, hereâa chance to sample some local Guatemalan cuisine. Not very busy, lots of waiters to get your order going. Also be prepared to have some âsalesmenâ come in from the street to see you some jewelry or even serenade you while you are eating. It was nice to try some local food here but overall canât say that it blew me away. The salads were OK, but the beef tenderloin was slightly overcooked and arrived swimming in a brown liquid sauce. Edible but forgetful. But the michelada beer was cold and hit the spot.Ate here for the convenience but will probably try another place next time.

Excellent steak house, open late. It was really awesome to try some of the unique cuts they had (something like filet mignon and they left a bit of the fat at the edge, which was awesome). This is a very expensive restaurant for Guatemala, but not so expensive by US standards.

This is one of the best surprises I've had in a long, long time. We lucked out and got a table without a reservation (don't try this regularly) and were in for a treat. The wine list is as good as it gets (the sommelier is French) and the food spectacular. There were four in our party and between us we hit the bulk of the menu. Every dish was a delight. It's a great people watching spot and I'll be back soon, with a reservation.

The food was amazing! We had three different types of meat, and all of them were great. The costilla sin hueso was particularly good, as well as the mashed potatoes and guacamole. They give you three different types of salts to season the meat yourself that really heighten the taste. Overall great experience, and I would love to eat there again.

Finally had the opportunity to have the Tasting Menu and we were so impressed with presentation of each course and it was impossible to pick a favorite course as they were all brilliantly prepared and executed. Tastes varied and complimented each other. The 10 course option is a must as I would hate to think which two I would have missed with the 8 course option.Wine list is not that long but plenty of variety and reasonably priced. All in all is was a great night - great food and excellent service including their care in making sure food allergies were accommodated. Want to return now and try offerings off their regular menu.

Rincon del Steak is a unique restaurant that our specialty is to roast the meat wrapped in a blanket, which gives a perfect flavor to the meat. Is a unique concept in Guatemala City. Our architecture is amazing, we used recycle pallets to make our tables,
This was my first visit to Ricon del Steak and I'm invited to come back. I order the first item on the menu of steaks: a Culotte medium rare with broiled veggies and broiled onion stems or "cebollÃn". They brought my order fast and while I waited, I was served a complementary broth, refried black beans with nachos, and an awesome spiced fresh sausage. Their "Al trapo" technique means the meat comes juice and slightly smoked, without the artificiality of already-made sauces. Meat is tender and juicy. Served in a light wine-based sauce, which is very subtle.I'm bringing my mom here for her birthday. That's how impressed I am with this place. Thanks for your review about your experience in Rincon del Steak. It was a pleasure to serve you. We hope to see you again soon!!Best Regards.
