We walked through the bar to a nice dining room one Sunday for their Menu Especial Primavera for 26,50 euros each that included delicious red beans and ham, roasted suckling pig, chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream coated with white chocolate, wine, water, coffee, and bread. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. We were a bit taken aback when half a baby pig with a head was brought to our table, but I'm sorry to say we got over our squeamishness rather quickly. The meat was tender, succulent, and very moist. Several diners were enjoying lamb that still had the little feet attached. Although we expect PETA to come knocking any day now, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I had the menu for 12.90 euro. Adequate food, nothing special. However, the service was spectacularly slow and rude. This is a place for locals who come mostly to drink and socialize (in the evening). Perhaps good people watching but also crowded and noisy. I had to finally stand up and make as to leave before they brought the check. Save yourself the stress; eat somewhere else, like El Postal up the street (5 minute drive).

You can get the baby pig here roasted and served head and all! This is a specialty of the region. As you may already know ham reigns here and is cured and prepared in many ways. You have to have ham that is cured in Spain. If you can not do a baby pig, then try some cured slices.Thank you for your opinion and review. We are very happy that the roast suckling pig was of his taste, roasted in a traditional way and in a wood-fired oven, it is undoubtedly one of our star dishes and we have been doing it the same for 124 years. Thank you for your visit to Segovia and this restaurant, we hope that you can return in the near future and continue enjoying the city and our cuisine.

Among its culinary specialties include traditional roast suckling pig, the desalted cod and game dishes with seasonal mushrooms. An authentic brand and quality assurance, prepared with great care in the oven. Undoubtedly, a unique place, with the best vie
We stopped here for lunch. The food was good and not too expensive. We had a mixture of salad, sopa Castellana and Chirizo, and all tasted well. Service was polite and friendly, but slow. We would visit again. Thank you very match for your remark. We will wait for your next visit to Segovia!

We had dinner at this restaurant as part of a group. A companion and I ordered a bottle of wine, and gave the payment for the bottle to the group leader, who was paying the total bill for the entire group. After the leader paid and left, the waiter, obviously a seasoned professional who saw an opportunity, presented us with a bill for the bottle and demanded payment. Since our leader had left, we had no choice but to pay (or call the police, which in Spain would have been of doubtful use.) The restaurant is staffed by thieves who should not be trusted. Diner beware!Dear Customer.Once we have researched your experience in our establishment, we have verified that your guide paid the group invoice by credit card. SHE (TOUR GUIDE) PAID ONLY THE CONTRACTED SERVICES. SHE DIDN´T PAY THE WINE BOTTLE. Unfortunately through Tripadvisor we can´t attach this information for everyone to see, so we would appreciate it if you would contact us to send you a copy of the dinner bill, as well as the visa ticket, and you can check that what we tell you is true. It´s very serious to accuse someone of a thief, so please talk with your guide to clarify what happened.OUR ESTABLISHMENT NEVER COLLECTED THE BOTTLE OF WINE TWICE.Best regards,The Restaurant Manager.

The Figón de los Comuneros restaurant is located very close to the Plaza Mayor de Segovia, a step away from the main monuments located in the city center. Our restaurant is a typical meeting point at the time of the aperitif for the Segovians. The secret
One of the many restaurants servibg the local specialties of cochinillo, castellana soup, and beans "judias de la granja". The judias and soup were very bland, and somewhat lacking in flavour. The cochinillo was fine, but nothing special and lacking in meat. Sorry....Wouldnt go back.
