Find out what Grill restaurants to try in Paphos. Paphos, the capital of western Cyprus, has some serious historical clout. Site of the vast fourth-century BC Tombs of the Kings, set high on a cliff above the sparkling sea, as well as a dramatic Byzantine castle and fine mosaics, it's also known as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. The population of 27,000 is swelled by a summer influx of beach-bound English, German and Scandinavian visitors. A beautiful old harbor awaits, while modern hotels and restaurants stretch along the promenade.

We visited this restaurant at the beginning of our holiday and loved it. The burgers were very tasty and we had no complaints. However when we returned on our last night we were disappointed. There were no available tables so we were advised that we would be given the next table available, as those diners were just paying their bill. However, as soon as the table was vacated three local young men immediately took the table we were promised and ate the last diner's left over food. We were expecting the waiting staff to ask these people to move back to the table where they had been sat but they did not and did nothing about it. For the entire time we were there we were not offered drinks so we left on principle and ate elsewhere.Dear customer thank you for the review. We are aware of the incident at our restaurant. Unfortunately the young men that took your table were rude and aggressive towards our staff members and the lady serving you. They would not vacate the table even though they were insistent. It was a difficult situation for my team to manage and it wasn't a case of bad service but trying to diffuse a situation at a high pressure moment during service. By the time I (manager) was informed of the situation, you had already left. You can probably remember that the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff members were waiting for you to take your seats at the table before taking your order for drinks.I understand that you were probably very disappointment since you were so looking forward to your repeat visit after a fantastic first one.

Mandra Tavern is one of the oldest restaurants in Paphos serving traditional Cypriot cuisine for over 3 decades. Our aim is always, to not only serve delicious food made from fresh local ingredients, but also to be a place where guests of all ages could c
I really wanted to like this place. I chose it after walking past it several times and I thought it looked great. I read trip advisor and there were plenty of positive reviews. There was a scattering of negative , but I thought it would be fine. It started well enough with an attentive waiter taking our drinks order and asking about our holiday. After that it went downhill. Service of starter and main was rushed and then we couldn't get anyone's attention. Our waiter was too busy saying hello/ goodbye to customers he seemed to know. Eventually we asked to see the menu again, he forgot. In the end we fetched it ourselves. We asked for a Cypriot coffee and the bill. It came in the end but considering it was one of the more expensive restaurants in the area the service was a real let down. Sorry if I come across as picky but you can do better at one of the many others places locally.Thank you for the review. We appreciate all positive and negative reviews. We are a business that has a great emphasis on service and your initial touch point is what we are all about. We have 3 waiters serving our dining area and for you not to be able to get someones attention is probably because of an evening where we had walk ins coming in at the same time. There are evenings where 6 or 7 tables walk in within 5 minutes and that's when service becomes challenging for the waitstaff and kitchen. The restaurant fills up at 8.30 and by 9.45 everyone is asking for the bill. This is not the norm but we have nights like this and its unpredictable. We are trying to manage these situations internally and your review helps us.

Magical flavours, good wine selection, great bar and cocktail choice, a small art gallery, relaxed atmosphere, and all with affordable prices.
Looks cool from the outside but it proved to be lacking in atmosphere or the welcoming charm of other nearby places. When ordering drinks the waitress laughed at me when I asked what non alcoholic cocktails they did - and asked me what I wanted and did I want a kids cocktail. I then said could I just have a Cranberry lime& soda which she then forgot about whilst recommending cocktails for my partner who does drink. However putting that aside the food I ordered was delicious- I had the exotic shrimp salad and my partner had the chicken burger, we left straight after eating and went to Tramps - where they are quite happy to serve drinks without alcohol in them!

I went there to have breakfast as I read all good reviews, well the place look cute so I thought I would stay but the first impression from the waitress was bad and not friendly , the menu was very basic and poor selection of foods, I ended up leaving the place as I didnât find something nice for breakfast Thank you for your visit. We are a humans and sometimes we have bad days. We donât serve breakfast. But your visit it will help us to considerate that opción. To understand â why â we get so many good reviews is because we get very good customers too.

Tsiakkas Taverna is in one of the most magnificent locations on the island. The Taverna is a family run business, running for over 35 years. Our quality is down to our experience, which gives you the chance to try homemade fresh food. The original taste o
Walked down as was local to our hotel. Nice welcome that was where it stopped. Main meal okay, bread delivered as after thought after mains delivered, one waiter we believe Russian certainly not interested in clients other than his nationality. Not the first time we have encountered this in Cyprus and itâs a sad reflection on the Cypriot hospitality. Not offered deserts after waiting for sometime asked for bill, no thank you drinks as offered to other tables. To many places to eat around Paphos so give this a miss.

We booked this restaurant based purely on trip advisor ratings. It was dreadful! The noise from the live music was unbearable and made conversation impossible. Half the meals we ordered were unavailable, others were served cold and one was burnt. The others were decidedly underwhelming. Eat here at your peril!

***Please RESERVE your table so we serve you in time*** Melania Restaurant is a family restaurant owned by Kannavias family from the 80s. Situated about 1km after the âTombs Of The Kingsâ on the way to Coral Bay. Public transport to Melania every 20 minut
Melania is one of those restaurants you would normally not find easily. The place was recommended to us by the owner of Rododafni beach appartments were we stayed. The people in the restaurant are very nice and helpfull. They serve very nice local dishes and have very good local wines.

Londos perasma situated on B6 at Timi village, just five minutes from Paphos airport. A traditional cypriot family run taverna, with a small outside childrens play area. A very reasonably priced menu consisting of both traditional and non traditional food
A super taverna - wonderful staff who are so helpful and friendly but professional. The strongest G&Ts ever ! Great to see Perrier served in a large bottle too. The tuna salad was super and the chocolate cake a seriously naughty treat with lovely glazing. Felt humbled when the tip was appreciated. A place with shade and a few sun traps - a great place to stop.
