Bar type restaurant with mainly young patrons and groovy dance music. The scene was welcome and inviting. They serve good quality food. Loved the steak and how it was served. Service was ok too. When walking through Novosibirsk I was positively surprised to find another 'SibirSibir' restaurant. As in Smolenskaya Moscow, where I had dinner twice at the local 'SibirSibir', these restaurant were both attached to an Azimut hotel, and as I found out later they are the only two anywhere.After my good experiences in Moscow I also had dinner on both evenings at the Novosibirsk 'SibirSibir'. There are some similarities in the whole set up, as well as in the menu card, but there were some differences and these interested me. For example, instead of Muskun, they had Nelma, another whitefish of the Coregonus family. While the Muksun Stroganina in Moscow was served on a frozen square quartz plate, here the Nelma Stroganina came on a round piece of ice, in which peppercorns and herbs had been frozen. It was served with extra little bowls of pepper, salt and ginger.Instead of a main course I then went for a second starter: Blini's (wheat pancake) filled with 'Sig Caviar' (roe of another Siberian whitefish). Naturally the ideal companion to these dishes is Vodka, thus I ordered some cristal clear 'Mamont' from the Altai. The dessert again was one of the best I ever tasted: Pavlova with Cowberries, Ice Cream and Sour Cherry.Luckily I was given a waiter, who had gotten his training at the 'SibirSibir^' in Moscow, who was friendly and who spoke some English. Unfortunately he wasn't around anymore, when I went there on the next evening. It was a Sunday and I was alone inside during the whole time. A young lady, who looked like the person in charge here, brought me the menu card, but after that she only passed by my table during her regular rounds, without paying any attention to her only guest.The waiter I was given spoke no English at all and after bringing my food he disappeared, never showing up again. Since he pulled the menu card out of my hands, after I had ordered, and took them away, I couldn't check for an eventual additional dish or drink or a dessert. To pay I had to get up and walk over to the cashier, where I showed my displeasure.Since on the previous evening the waiter had left me the menu card, I knew what I was going to order anyway. It was a 'Chir' (Broad Whitefish), which I had grilled and served together with pieces of avocado. A second plate I asked for was 'Fried Poporotnik' (Fern). All excellent, adding to my knowledge of the interesting Siberian cuisine. But this evening I skipped dessert, which I had instead at the not far away 'Paulaner' of the Radisson hotel, with friendly and professional staff, speaking good English.Good afternoon. We regret that you were disappointed with the qualifications of our staff. We will definitely work out their communication skills in foreign languages. We hope to see you again in our Siberian restaurant!

A cooking at the level of the ambitious menu card, the service, the choice of wine, the deco, the calm jazzy atmosphere and the panoramic view of the city. We had a wonderful dinner at the beautiful French Restaurant. We had a reservation and they gave us thus beautiful large table, near the fireplace. The menu was extensive and so were the wines. I had the salmon/ crab carpaccio as well as the Sea Bass, everything was cooked to perfection. Some of the other dishes that my family and friends had were the pastas, duck, lamb and chicken.

Good location, modest pricing, wide selection on the menu, kids-friendly, spacious, modern, what else can you ask for? Comfortable seats, quick service despite the fact that it was busy. You have to climb a few flights of stairs and they have hookah smoking inside, but those didn't seem to be very disturbing problems. The place is moderately noisy, but has a delightful relaxing atmosphere. I'd certainly like to go there again. ÐобÑÑй денÑ, УважаемÑй ÐоÑÑÑ! Nice place with hundreds of Black-Lable whisky bottle decoration offering a wide variety of food types. We tried their freshly made dumplings of different types, and they were excellent and wonderful. Sushi was a bit stale and can be avoided. This restaurant is akin to having a weird out of body experience. What you basically have is replica of the Wild West of America; ie replica saloon bar, come tee-pee come restaurant come railway. It's ridiculously authentic. If someone said the owner took his or her cheque book to the States, toured and bought up chunks of old American artefacts and saloon bar fixtures, not to mention a railway car that provides a private dinning experience, I'd believe them. This is the kind of recreation that Disney would dream up. It works because as a Westerner the last thing you expect to find in Siberia, is this imaginative space. It's fun. We were there on a very quiet weekday but I could imagine weekends it's a party atmosphere.The dishes are less American and more weird with everything from T-Bone steaks to, yes, bull's testicles. I lived in Argentina so I am pretty open minded having eaten every conceivable part a cow, sheep or goat for that matter. But some of those things are not going to be to everyone's taste. But you will find normal dishes. I stuck to the offal: great kidneys.It's a huge menu. For me too much choice. I get lost when there's so much choice. They do have an English menu. It's not terribly expensive. Affordable. Staff are very friendly. As a visitor I come to places off the beaten track, like Novosibirsk, to experience the local culture. And this is more eclectic / down right weird, being a concoction of old-Americana in Siberia. But it makes the experience all the more unusual. It's a fun place. It's not pretending to be a slice of Siberian life. And bear in mind, you hardly see Westerners in this neck of the wood so it's here for the locals. Go on a busy night.

Didnât realise Goodmanâs was a Russian chain until this visit, the waiter (Dimitri) was charming and friendly sharing much detail of his hobbies etc, but possibly most importantly the best food to choose, guiding us to a Rib Eye!! The steak was fabulous, as was the wine. Highly recommended
