We have grill menou and local wine at the quit green place.we open all year and the weekends with life music
Having visited Paleokastritsa and heading back to Corfu, we ended up accidentally finding this place. You would not think much of it, being one of those places on the side of a road in the middle of (relatively) nowhere. However, you'd be absolutely dead wrong not to stop there if you get a chance! We ordered a mix of various things, but what really stood out for me were the sardines and lamb chops. The sardines (starter dish) had a really nice flavour (strong) and texture. If you like fish, you will not be disappointed. As for the lamb chops, what to say other than the fact they were the best we had during our 1-week trip in Corfu island! Also, bonus, the owner (Fannis - apologies if I mispell that) is a really nice guy.If you are around there, and if like us you're feeling hungry, this place is worth the detour!

We've visited Pelekas and we stopped at this taverna recommended to us by locals. It was a good choice. We've ordered greek salad, a kind of boughiurdi, veal sofrito and pastitsada. Everything was very tasty and the portions were big enough. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

Although we had an appartment just above Agios Gordios, every evening we drove (in 5 minutes) to Sinarades to enjoy our dinner. All the food here comes from local farms and the cook is excellent. And the service is very good. Here you have the authentic Greek atmosphere.

We were recommended Sprio's by a local halfway through our trip and we're just sad that we didn't know about it earlier!I'm a vegetarian and it's safe to say that my experience of Corfu food was terrible before I came to Sprio's. Every other taverna only offered pizza, pasta with tomato sauce or greek salad. When we ate at Sprio's the food was fantastic! As mentioned in other reviews they have daily specials. Each day one of the specials was veggie and it was wonderful. We went back every night after that and it was something that I looked forward to all day after the disappointing food experience I'd had so far.And the desserts! They were so so tasty and a perfect way to round off the meal. The service was exceptional. They spoke perfect english and made us feel incredibly welcome. Maria is a credit to the taverna and was a friendly and knowledgable server. The setting is lovely. Each night we sat on the upstairs terrace under cover of grape vines. The village is lovely and only a half an hour walk from where we were staying in Ermones. I can guarantee that if you eat here you wont want to eat anywhere else!

Although we stay on the opposite side of the island to this restaurant we always make sure we have time to drive over to enjoy a plate of Moussaka from Alexandros It it without doubt fabulous, the secret being Alexandro's mother is in the kitchen. One word of warning if you go for lunch have a small breakfast as the portions are large, but so good you have to eat it all. The restaurant also has a full menu again produced by mother, but for me there is only one dish on the menu. Highly recommended

Greek and Italian specialities!!!!Home made pizzas in wooden oven!!!
The food is fine but the main reason to eat here is the fabulous view over Pelekas bay from the terrace.

Vasiliki has created a few dishes that always excite my senses. The wine she makes is awesome and she has great respect for the ingredients that come from the land surrounding the restaurant. It is not open everyday and do call for a reservation. It is worth going at least once during your visit on Corfu.

Had a few lunches and dinners in the restaurant as stayed in a hotel near by. Enjoyed the place so much that kept coming there every day. The location is great with beautiful views and amazing sunsets. The atmosphere is good and relaxed/relaxing, romantic in the evenings. The food we had was always fresh and so delicious that I still remember the taste. Greek salad, oysters, fried anchovies, marinated anchovies, seafood paella - you name it - we tried a lot during our numerous visits. Very happy with the service too. Highly recommend.
