Cheimona-kalokairi (winter-summer) is a small traditional Greek restaurant. There is a small indoor winter area with a fire-place..and a summer garden with vines and herbs, like the old times... We cook exactly as the Greek grandmother would cook for her
We had a party for my daughter and son in laws 1st Anniversary here for 22 peopleThe food was amazing I had a meeting with the lovely owner who advised us on great food choices to please our greek relatives and also the scottish family.Everyone raved about the food which seemed to be neverending and the finale was the selection of wonderful desserts.I highly recommend this restaurant.Thank you

This was our second visit for lunch, after our favourite long walk along the sea front and once again everything was great. The fried gavros (anchovies) was perfect, the fava just as we like it (warm & not too mashed up) and the Poseidon salad was terrific. The white house wine very nice too. Very good service and clean toilets. Can't wait to visit again.

typical greek tavern by the sea. unfortunately like most of those places, prices are higher than normal. Try to avoid it in the weekends, you might get a better treat the rest of the week.

It was a random choice of restaurant in the area. The menu was long, so we asked the waiter for some recommendations. All food was good and everyone liked it. Prices are not high but this is not a low budget eatery, so bear that in mind. Would go there again.

We had our best pasta in Greece here during our 2 week stay in the country. Cooked to perfection, simply seasoned and tasting wonderful. Staff were attentive and very positive and indulged our queries about the area. I can also recommend the ice cream on offer in numerous fantastic flavours. If in the area definitely worth a visit.

A huge place in Nea Makri - and by the looks of it, very popular. Itâs not your usual souvlaki place, itâs got more of an oriental feel to it, something touching Asia Minor here, but good nonetheless! We ordered a big plate of different skewers and kebabs, it was huge and very tasty, fresh and delicious. Service too was surprisingly quick, especially as they were busy that Friday night. A good choice for budget food in town.

...because personnel doesn't speak english and in a tourist zone this is a minus. Also the waiter who served us brought us a wrong dish and told us afterwards.Anyway food was good and nice to look at; price substantially aligned with quality.Atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable, average waiting times considering the restaurant was almost empty.I would gladly come back.
Where to eat Pub food in Nea Makri: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is a traditional Greek taverna, squashed between the main road and the sea, advertising 'free' sunbeds (very tired and torn!) on the scrappy strip of beach. However, the number of cars parked outside persuaded us to stop and we were the only Brits on a terrace full of locals enjoying Sunday lunch. Service was good, portions were large and the fried calamares was deliciously fresh (the best we had all week), the fried aubergine was crispy and the Greek salad was perfect. Best of all, it was redolent of the wonderful holidays we enjoyed in Greece in the 80s.

A Greek traditional village tavern, serving the finest fresh fish and the highest quality grilled products. We have live music every Sunday afternoon and offer a variety of menus, including vegetarian choices and a vegan menu. We serve breakfast and coffe
10 days in Greece, staying in Spata- near airport- we enjoyed this taverna in the beach side town of Artemida. Quick drive 15 minutes from Spata; park along the beach. They have a restaurant on either side of the road. Both are cute; better view on the beach, bathrooms across the road.Service friendly; food good and authentic; grilled chicken, fish, salad and some wine. Stroll outside along the coast or into town. Can't lose. You can't lose by going to Greece- what great people, food, and world class sites at reasonable prices!
