Great service, lovely tranquil ambience, lovely food at fantastic prices, friendly and helpful staff who speak very good English. Seems very popular even in low season, also has a very large car park right next door so no problems parking. Was only staying in the area for a few days but visited twice, and could easily go here all the time!!Thank you so much for visiting us and for sharing you experience with the world !

Recommended in lonely planet we decided to drive up into the hills to this taverna. So glad we did. Spectacular views on the way and the village setting is idyllic. Lovely taverna, we sat outside under the shade of the fig trees. Excellent food and very generous portions. Very relaxed afternoon. Nothing to fault

Lovely team of staff and generous, tasty dishes. Majority of what we ate was tasty, with highlights being the scampi, steak, calamari, mixed grill and chicken nuggets. Nice ambience and gets very busy. Worth a visit if you are in the area or staying nearby.

We visit The Farm Yard whenever we go to Cyprus, and it never disappoints. The menu is varied and quite extensive. The food is always well prepared and delicious and the portion sizes can best be described as generous. We haven't tried the Asian food yet - maybe next time. This time my wife had the salmon and I had the rosemary pork, washed down by a carafe and a half of the house white wine.I must mention the lovely serving ladies who actally seemed to enjoy providing excellent service - service with a smile you might say.Probably best to book in advance though we have never had a problem when we arrive at 7 pm on a weekday evening. For good food and a pleasant night out, The Farm Yard takes some beating.

I believe this little Cafenion has now been renamed the Anerades after the nearby nature walk Anerades meaning fairies. The Greek owner and friendly young lady who was originally from the Phillipines, were both lovely people could not do enough for you.We enjoyed a coffee and local pastry which was made by the young lady who had been taught by the older ladies of the village. The proprietor a bearded friendly Greek then came and shared some cheese and honey with carob and pollen on top free of charge and extolling the helath benefits of this tasty offeringHighly recommended

We visited this restaurant after finding a number of well thought of places in Kathikas. We were welcomed by the owner, the restaurant is named after her Grandfather whoâs house it originally was. We had three dips served with a large piece of fresh bread that was toasted with garlic butter. All home made we think. After I had a Pork chop which was enormous, and my wife had home made Moussaka. Both were delicious after which we had a free sweet again, home made. This is certainly a good choice. BUT!! A word of warning - go with a healthy appetite, the portions are generous.
