We Welcome You To Our Restaurant Whichis Located In The Historic Village Of " Maleme ". " Perasma " Which Is The Name Of Our Restaurant, Means The Place From Which Someone May Pass Through, The Passage. We Sincerely Wish That All The Passages Of Your Life
Having visited restaurants in Greece for decades, sadly tonightâs meal at Perasma was one of the worst meals any of us have ever been served in Greece. Dire. The local sausages had an exceedingly unpleasant taste and were inedible - yet the two previous nights we have had some of the best local sausages we have ever had - in other local restaurants, so they are available. The soutsoukakia was highly unusual - being kebabs, not meatballs, and with a cheese sauce containing some tomato. The saganaki was hardly cooked and rubbery. To be fair, the chicken souvlaki was ok. The local cats were given much of our meal for 4. At the end of the meal there was no complimentary raki as we have received every other night in other local restaurants.Avoid.Dear sir thank you for writing with your picture it helped me a lot to understand who you are, and that you uploaded this review because I declined your demand of â25% discount because you were four peopleâ as you told me the sausages are from our village butcher and he is right in the corner, also he is our family so we get the best meat available.... he is also awarded for those specific sausages....For the âsoutzoukakiaâ Iâve been asked from you what are they and I replied by Describing the full recipe «kind of meatballs cooked in red tomato sauce and mixed up with four different kinds of Greek cheese which are melted in the sauce» youâve heard it and ordered them.Saganaki cheesein crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside... for the dishes you describe as inedible are uploaded pictures from my costumers on trip advisor so everyone can see... at the end I didnât serve you raki this is true because I give as a treat ârakolemonoâ raki with lemon which is our traditional family recipe which counts 130 years of existence and ice cream... thank you for your time my family and me wish you a happy life :)

We ate here 3 times during our week, each time we thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was very well cooked and served by friendly staff, we would like to mention Antonia, who was particularly friendly, definitely value for money in comparison to the others along this particular part of the seafront.

If you are near Maleme you must visit Albatross restaurant. Mama Georgia makes wonderful and tasty dishes. She only uses local produce and vegetables they grow on their own farm. The portions are very large and enough for two people if you not are very hungry. The best recommendation from me.

Ate here a few times during our 10 day stay in Maleme. Terrific food, friendly service, come with an appetite as the portions are enormous. Highly recommended for a snack or dinner, souvlaki to die for! UK visitor

Great food! Great service! Staff are very friendly and welcoming! I would say itâs the best restaurant on the sea front in Maleme. Prices are very reasonable, compared to some of the other restaurants on the sea front. The restaurant has stunning views of the sea. Itâs a great place to relax and have lunch or just to have a drink and take in the views.

This restaurant is a family business. It's the best and cheapest choice you can get in the beautiful village of Maleme! With a great variety of fresh meat, salads and daily home cooked food in the low prices! Very friendly staff , Apostolos (the owner) and
This was a massive disappointment having looked forward to a kebab from this recommended taverna/cafe during our stay in Maleme. We came for lunch prior to our Airport transfer and ordered doner and chicken Gyros for one last taste of authentic Greek food before heading back to the UK. It seemed the old couple that own the place couldn't have been more put out by our arrival and spoke limited English but eventually took our order and brought over our drinks. The kebabs looked great and were presented well but then it all went down hill fast. I asked for some hot sauce and was given a jar of hot Paprika which I dully shock over my plate. Having taken my second bite I saw something moving which on closer inspection was many tiny maggots writhing around on my plate. Spitting the food out I examined my plate and told my friends to stop eating as some had also used the Paprika. Thankfully theirs appeared maggot free so they must have only been sitting in the top of the Paprika jar but I hastily took my plate up to counter to show the couple. At first the lady apologised and said they would make me another Gyros while he scowled at me before then both trying to tell me it was just oregano herbs not maggots. It wasn't unless Oregano is small, white and wiggles however I accepted the replacement and returned to the table. As you can imagine this ruined the meal and we couldn't face eating any more and with the owners disinterested we just settled the bill (in full) and left. Greetings.Thank you for taking time to write a review of your experience in our restaurant. We are really saddened that you had such a bad time in our restaurant. Although we take every critic seriously , we would like to also state our side for the incident. The paprika we provided to you was factory sealed and we opened it infront of you. it was bought 2 days ago from our supplier supermarket. Finally the next day we took it to the supermarket for further examination and were proven right. No maggots anywhere. You also mention that you and your friends were disgusted and didn't finish your plates. We recall you finished your new plate that was provided from us for free and so did your friends. Our meats are full on herbs for taste and flavour. We still insist that you though oregano Was maggots. in any case, about the age of the owners.. They are not that old.. They both speak decent English, especially the owner which is Canadian. We kindly ask you sorry if we still disagree after what we just replied. It is the truth although. We wish the best.

Dont walk past this restaurant, immaculate, clean , huge menu both local and national dishes. Top quality food and wine. A daily specials board on top of that. I only wish I'd found this on my first night here, I probably wouldn't of eaten anywhere else. Relaxed on the balcony, had Cretan sausage starter, delicious. Then BBQ Chicken and Ribs with home made chips. Top quality.. Back tomorrow night.

Firstly, donât go expecting Michelin quality food - itâs just not available in most Greek holiday resorts. However, as tourist restaurants go, this one is very good. There is a wide choice on the menu (donât expect everything to be available though!) and the portion sizes are vast. I can thoroughly recommend the 3 Greek mix plates which were a great way of trying all the local dishes on the menu. However, donât order starters as well or you could be still sat there come sunrise! The only issue we had was with the wine selection - granted we went in September so I appreciate itâs after the summer rush, however, out of a fairly limited selection in the first place, they only had 2 types of white wine available. We were slightly disappointed but it did not stop us returning to the restaurant on another two occasions during our visit.

The Restaurant at this Hotel complex is behind the seafront bar and accommodation up on the hill but has fantastic views from the raised terrace out across the resort. The waitress who greeted us was very warm and friendly and was great fun throughout our meal as she recommended various dishes and chatted to us. We had the Kebab, Schnitzel and Casserole which were very good and clearly enjoyed by the guests who appeared to mostly be from the UK and presumably staying full board at the hotel. The bill was reasonable and arrived with the usual Raki so we settled up and made the short walk back down to the seafront bar for a night cap. The staff at the bar were equally as welcoming and having live sport on the TV was a bonus.

Wonderful and friendly staff, good service and lovely atmosphere. Amazing food. It doesn't matter what you order. You will not be disappointed. All dishes taste excellent. The amazing taste and the high quality makes you feel the dishes are made by an experienced mother in a local home kitchen who has cooked for them her own children. We are really happy that you enjoyed our restaurant. We are trying for the best about our guests and we always try to offer them good food and a big smile.
