Some of the inferior restaurants will charge â¬3.50 for a cappuccino. Here it's â¬2.70 and also includes cake and a glass of water. Whilst I was here about half of the locals that walked past wished kalimera to the staff here; obviously popular people and judging by night popular restaurant.

We visited this restaurant 4 times for lunch we were always delighted with the food service and seaviews. We tended to have meze type dishes but we did try some of the main meals all were delicious. Definitely worth a visit especially at lunch or late afternoon for the seaviews

On a drive around the island of Thassos we had previously looked on TripAdvisor at the best restaurants for some lunch, this was something we were looking forward to. We sat towards the front of the restaurant, bit disappointed as the view of the sea is obscured with sun beds and parasols, you can order food from the sun beds at an extra cost, as weâre moving on this was not an option. We ordered a Greek salad, pork gyros and a side of taziki, service was dull and the waiter had no enthusiasm or energy and the worst of all not friendly. Being number 1 you expect more. Food arrived, the Greek salad was okay, not the best Iâd had that week and it had far too much feta on top, pork gyros, not the traditional style but homemade, a little fatty for my liking but the taziki with the bread was very good. What was disappointing was the lack of atmosphere, no music and everyone looked miserable. The beach setting is nice but the beach is pebbles and gritty, found better beaches on our drive. Not as cheap as other restaurants, maybe our visit was bad timing, but the restaurant was busy and should of had a better vibe.

The rack of sun drying octopus means itâs difficult to miss this restaurant on outskirts of village.Usually busy early on and going by reviews, itâs locals not just tourists. The food was tasty and plentiful, starters of vine leaves and grilled feta followed by octopus in wine and hamburger. With a bottle of water and carafe of wine, â¬41.

Telephone +30 25930 52192. Proprietor Kyriotis Dimitrios. [email protected]. Family run restaurant on terrace raised above the road overlooking the sea. Excellent food every night we ate there and a charming and helpful host (Dimitrios).
We ate here for lunch and dinner about seven times last week - absolutely loved it - Greek salad, cheese salad, shrimps all excellent. Favourites were the smoked mackerel, fried aubergine and courgette starter, and grilled chicken fillet. Best tasting fresh tomatoes we had in the Greek salad. Fantastic service, great wine and amazingly friendly. Wish we had this restaurant at home!

WE MAY NOT HAVE THE SEA CLOSE BUT WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN AND OUR FRIENDSHIP AND OF COURSE GREEK MEALS EVERY DAY DIFFERENT....NO ONE LEAVES HUNGRY FROM US AND WITHOUT MONEY IN HIS POKET....YOU SHOULD TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND LIMENARIOTISSA FOODHOUSE
We discovered this little family taverna via TripAdvisor and it's really great. We went there 3 times during our vacation and every time food was great and owners were really friendly.Whatever you choose for main meal (fish, beef and pork dishes are really tasty), take bread dips as starter, it's simple and great starter meal unique for Greece. We were offered with nice desert, free of charge, every time we went taverna. If you prefer small & simple family restaurant with Greek traditional cousine and affordable prices, that is out of standard tourist path, this is right place for you.Menu example is in the attachment, but keep in mind that can be different.

Beware, we made the long walk from the town to give this restaurant a go from previous reviews & #01 rating.Arrived at around 7.30pm to be met with a harsh 'have you booked, we have no tables available' although many tables were empty the guy said you can sit down if you can find a seat and maybe we can fit you in, fair enough.Sat next to another couple in the same boat, waited for 30 mins and people were turning up without bookings and seated straight away, they heard the same and we all left, food may be good but the customer experience was poor, the only saving grace was the guy behind the bar, very polite and helpful pitty about the rest.Dear Sirs and dear Madams.I am so sorry for your bad experience, I am dumbfounded and very sad because I know you are absolutely right. What happened actually since it was a National Greek holiday all tables were fully booked and the weather forecast was with thunderstorms, which consequently produced a feeling of panic among the staff due to the fact that we are an outdoors restaurant.I am not trying to excuse myself but I really would be delighted if you could give us a second chance, we will be very happy to pay for a taxi for you from the town here and back.Best wishes,Tommaso Pelliccia- Owner Maestrale, Thassos

In the center of Limenaria, in the south of Thassos, in a neoclassical building next to the sea, the traditional tavern ''Mouragio'' is being housed since 1990. Here you can yield to the temptation of trying the local ''delicacies'', the ''mezes'' (snacks
This restaurant has seating by the sea or in the elevated area across the road in the building. The food is excellent and well presented. The chef obviously takes great care on how it looks on the plate. I had Mediterranean cheese rolls which I highly recommend and calamari witch was fresh and tasty. My wife had pilchards which again was excellent. We sat by the sea which has a great view and good atmosphere. Very good table service as well. We really enjoyed our time here.Dear guest, thank you very much for your detailed review. We will be pleased to welcome you back to our restaurant in the near future.Once more thank you
