The most pleasant person was the...cook! That is saying a lot about the service rating of this place. Tourists from Western Europe and the U.S. also show up in Komotini guys !! We understand the "eastern cuisine" twist and all that, but the "attitude" we can do without! The owner is the cousin of the Turkish restaurant next door and co-owner of a club not far away, but we really do not care. We want our experience in this restaurant to be perfect. BEST SCENARIO: buy exquisite and very tasty/original foods from the traditional market and..Leave! Best way to enjoy some unique tastes-away from the restaurant...

To my mind, eating fish, seafood and the like ,is connected with the blue breeze of the seaside. Unfortunately ''ixthioskala'' bears the disadvantage of being in the middle of nowhere, too far from the sea! That aside, there is a decent attempt in the decor, and the general atmosphere is friendly and nice. There was a great variety in the menu, from which I would definitely reccomend the pasta-seafood various combinations. You can choose any 'kritharoto' or 'rizoto' if you are a pasta lover. The service was ok, but our table was near the restroom, from which there was a rather heavy smell of fresh deodorant coming out whenever the door opened. The prices were very reasonable, so I would reccomend it for a family with kids.

Marmelade is a place about a lot of things. The base is the home kitchen ( with garden of it's own) and of course good wines (97 brands from Greece). We like Art ! A lot of Jazz concerts with musicians from around the world and expeditions of photographer
It might be the best choice for wine in the town. You can either have a bottle or a glass of a wine if you fancy. It could be a nice idea if they served something more than 3 breadsticks with the wine :-(Cozy and friendly environment, nicely decorated.Nice atmosphere and music as well. The environment outside the cafe isn't exactly pretty but they're trying to do their best..

We find this restaurant with TripAdvisor. There wasn't English menu but the boss call the chief who is origins Turkish. He helped us about menu. And recommend us grilled calamari, prawns saganaki and grilled mushrooms. Calamari was perfect with lemon olive oil sauce and something with secret. Grilled mushroom was like so soft and delicious. I can highly recommend this Greek Tavern.

Weâd been advised by a friend, not to miss the chance to have lunch at Sultan Tepe if visited the city of Komotini. He proved all right, when the rich menu with delicate recipes from east are more than great. The ambient is also very nice and the service very professional. We highly recommend the âtabouleâ salad and the âtsitirâ from main courses a lamb meat wrapped with pie accompanied with tomato sauce.

Quite a unique and very interesting concept for a restaurant. It is even a globally awarded concept for the design. Very pleasant atmosphere inside. An excellent value for money, no matter what you choose to eat, as it is aimed at younger ages. Located in the heart of the city, convenient to walk to from wherever you are. Kind and helpful staff. We were lucky to go on a day when it was full of graduates from the local university celebrating their graduation and the energy and feeling was unique. A definite "must-see" when in Komotini!
