Look for our free gray minibus just outside Katakolon Port.Glyfada Katakolon Beach offers sunbeds, wi-fi, changing rooms and showers free of charge as you enjoy your refreshment or fresh fish!
We visited this beach, when we stopped off for a few hours off a cruise ship. This beach stretches quite a distance and the waters are very shallow - ideal for the not so good swimmer. There are 2 restaurants, each with free sunbeds as long as you purchase a drink or have food. Perfect.

My family and friends were desperately looking for a good gyros on our last day in Greece and this by far was the best. Loved the atmosphere and the beer and good were amazing. We didn't want to leave. Magical meal!
We strolled from the port along the beach less than 1/2 a mile we came across this beach bar restaurant. Very friendly welcome and nice breeze suggested a local FIX beer which is very palatable indeed. Great views of the bay and the ships at anchor. The menu is typically local with fish and salads. Lovely spot and just a nice easy flat stroll to a genuinely local beach bar. Well worth the 10 or so minutes walk.

I guess a lot of people stop for the view or the internet. The view you can't fault the internet connection is really slow and unreliable even when the cafe is empty. Prices on the high side but that's normal here as the place only exists to exploit the cruise passengers going to Olympus
We spent the day at Aios Andreas beach and had a drink at the bar and a great lunch at this beautiful restaurant which has fantastic views and very cool interior design. The only negative feedback is that the food took over and hour and 20 minutes and some people in our party had to cancel their meal to head back to the ship which was very unfortunate. But definitely worth the visit - hopefully the service would be faster next time.

After strolling around small but charming Katakolo we were a bit hungry. There are several options by the sea. This one had ok reviews, a good number of crew members from the cruise (always a good sign), a nice view, interesting menu and....some free tables, one right at front with good views (they have a huge amounts of tables). The staff here was - despite it really was busy - extremely friendly. Two cold beers arrived quickly with the menu. Many items looked interesting, we were looking for some fish and/or seafood. We decided on a seafood platter. Fried little fish, calamari, shrimp, octopus, cheese and some fries. Price was fair (for two). Everything tasted really good and fresh. The octopus was really tender (someting many can't pull off). We ordered two more beer....and they didn't arrive for quite a while until we reminded our waiter, but understanding it's a busy place. Came quickly after with the beer....on the house (because he kept us waiting). How nice was that.Good food, nice views, friendly staff. Fantastic option here in Katakolo.

Festive flavors from Ilia land.Restaurant since 1983 and local products market. Traditional home made Greek food . Brunch .Lunch . Desserts .Coffee .Ice cream . Carefully selected high quality local products . From April until the end of October .
Filia looks like a quaint little restaurant/shop on the waterfront but surprised with the best Greek food we experienced on a 10 day vacation of Greek port cities. Also the prices are quite low for American standards. The restaurant has air conditioning which is a big plus for hot days but we did have to ask for the front door to be closed for it to have more effect. Overall a really good experience.
