My mother celebrated her 60th Birthday there today. Unfortuantely, I wasnt able to attend because of work, but I still wanted to help make the day special, so I called the Restaurant and asked if they could serve 2 bottles of Spumante upon her arrival to the Restaurant. I was greatly recommended by the owner over the phone and could pay for the bottles over PayPal within a minute. Their hospitality moved my mum to tears and made her special day a lot more special. Thank you for helping me with this request. I will continue to recommend you!

We lunched here a couple of times and had a takeaway. Great authentic souvlaki, caters for vegetarians. Cheerful service. Good house white. Brilliant value, probably the best value we found in the Cyclades. We enjoyed the location which was good for people watching.

We came for breakfast and then for lunch and everything was just perfect.Lovely secret garden run by an international family just next one of the main square of Chora. The freshest food we have eaten in the island, tasty local vegetables, fresh fruit juices, hot home baked brown bread, a lot of care, smiles, great greek playlist in a cozy arty atmosphere. Everything served on the beautiful pottery realised by the owner. Fully recommended.

Had one dinner at To Goupi. It was veal in tomatoe sauce. It comes with french fries, but it was possible to have bulgar salad in stead. I chose bulgar salad. Both the veal and the salat were very good and tasteful. Thevred wine was good. Nice staff. Wanted to eat hear more, but always full and people waiting in line.

We had dinner in Blue Cuisine to try something more sophisticated than the tavernas in Chora. Weâve had a great evening and can only recommend this place. It has a great atmosphere with a fantastic view to Choraâs main Church and great lounge music. We have chosen a selection of plates to share. Home made bread and the fish carpaccio are worth a special mention but everything was fresh and well presented. Also kudos to the great service, very attentive yet not intrusive. Overall greatly recommended.

We stopped here after a day on the beach to try their famous Matsata. We were not disappointed! We shared a goat, rooster and pork matsata between 4 of us and they were all delicious. We asked for Rakomelo which was not on their menu and they made this on the spot for us. So helpful. And then at the end we were treated to a complimentary orange pie which was delicious. A must visit if you come to the island.

Authentic Aegean cusine with high quality materials such as organic fava beans from Santorini, organic little tomatoes and cucumber from Santorini, veal from Naxos, smoked tsiro fish. Moreover MATSATA - homemade traditional pasta with fresh tomatoe sauce
We had a great dinner time here, with hosts being extremely nice and welcoming. They also have fresh fish, good menu, great wine and beautiful atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and affordable, we were quite surprised. This restaurant is now in Chora not Ano Meria.

My wife and I came here for dinner on our honeymoon and initially drove past it because it appeared to be a grocery store. After we circled back we realized that it's a hybrid grocery store/restaurant with a handful of tables scattered in a small room. What an awesome experience - there was no menu, only what the Yiayia had cooked up that day. We had delicious lamb sto fourno (lamb in the oven) with potatoes, the local rabbit pasta, Greek salad and the most delicious rose marmalade on Greek salad for dessert. There were no prices listed but the entire meal cost like 28 Euros with wine - so it is VERY reasonably priced.

A panoramic Sea view restaurant 20 meters from the Karavostasi beach. In grand veranda enjoy local food , organic greek specialties and a selected wine list .
We were staying at the Vrahos Hotel, which we loved. We had experienced their excellent buffet breakfasts and their outdoor dining terrace has the best view of Karovostasis harbor. The evening light over the village is especially picturesque.Night one: an outstanding octopus appetizer paired with a recommended Greek rose, followed by two fresh fish entrees, equally outstanding. All three dishes were a beautiful mix of Greek traditional and contemporary cuisine. Service was efficient and personable throughout, with a fantastic ambiance coupled with the beautiful view(lighting can be such an important aspect of the dining experience, and Vrahos has perfected the lighting, throughout the hotel, so incredibly well). The meal and dining experience were so enjoyable and memorable, we had to come back the next night.Night 2 - we had to have the octopus appetizer again, and we had the same tasty Greek rose; the entrees this time were two different fish, yet equal to the quality of the night before. A bit of a deja-vu from the night before, but experiencing perfection two nights in a row is a wonderful habit. After each of our vacations, my wife and I as part of our travel experience, we separately compose a list of our top 10 special memories of the trip, which we then compare over a glass of wine - not surprisingly we each had listed our dining experience at Vrahos as one of top 10 memories of Greece 2018.
