This restaurant took me back about 30 years. On entering we were escorted to the kitchen and shown the dishes that were available that evening, each one being explained. The order was then taken after any questions we asked were answered. It has been years since this has happened and I always liked this service. The food was first class and the service attentive, I can recommend this restaurant, with it's traditional service

We had first class fried calamari and very good dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves). But the chairs were uncomfortable and dirty, and the floor was uneven, so the chairs were unsteady.ElsÅ osztályú sült tintahalat kaptunk és igen jó dolmát (töltött szÅlÅleveleket). De a székek kényelmetlenek és koszosak voltak, a padló meg egyenetlen, úgy hogy a székek billegtek.

We ate here twice on a recent one week stay in Finikounda. After a break of 3 years the food was still fresh and locally sourced. This family run tavern is well worth the short walk from the main village with a friendly welcome assured. There is a slope although quiet steep for wheel chair access, but I'm shore help would be at hand.

Thapogas is a nice classical traditional Greek tavern. Very good location, at Loutsa beach with parking facilities. The service is rapid. The owner is polite. The menu is decent. The quality is good and the price are logical. It is open from the morning if you need a coffee but you could take food at your hotel if you ask for.

Whenever you go to this lovely bar you are made to feel really welcome. The owner always comes out to greet you. We made this our stop before going on to eat every evening.

Quite OK. Nothing more, nothing less. It is situated on a lovely site, overviewing the sea and the village of Foinikounta. Price and quality do not walk hand in hand and the service is not what you would expect in Greece. For each service a different waiter who, of course, is inly interested in his task...

Ate here this year to âgive it another chance â. Shouldnât have bothered. Confused recipes with no flavour. There are much better places to eat in Finikounda

Extremely busy most nights although nothing we experienced would differentiate it from the usual options locally. Seemed quite popular with the older generation (including us!) maybe due to seafront location without loud music. Service is a bit hit and miss but we were quite lucky and our order arrived fairly quickly. Nice food, same Greek standard as other tavernas in our opinion. Octopus in vinegar starter was pricey and small quantity @ â¬11. I accept the fish is not cheap but you can find this dish elsewhere for couple of euros less. On the other hand the grilled Octopus main was tasty and plenty so itâs swings and roundabouts. Overall a satisfying and typical Greek meal.

Went to this place as they had Ashley playing live music. He was amazing and did the gig for free as long as the audience bought his tequila shots. Bar well run and food good. Pool looks lovely and the bar is right on the beach. Most enjoyable experience!

Had a beautiful pork souvlaki in pita bread here for lunch the other day. Very cheap and a big portion with tomatoes, chips(fries) and the special sauce The chap is very friendly and it has an excellent spot overlooking the fishing harbour.
