We ate here twice on our way back from the beach. Both times the food was more than great. The food is traditional Greek and the prices are low. They have huge salads that are truly tasty and both times we ordered what they recommended from the kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised. My husband once ordered the lamb with lemon from the oven and the meat fell apart with the touch of the fork. And the taste.... Yum. Would I eat here again? YES!

You will find Amorgialos at the end of the jetty to your left as you disembark from your ship as you arrive in the Port of Aegiali. We open everyday til late in the night from Greek Easter throughout the summer months until the end of September.
We absolutely loved the food and music at this place. They make just a few dishes each day all made with fresh ingredients of excellent quality. Portions were generous and the person who took our order (seemed like the owner) was friendly and made time to talk to all the guests. My partner is vegetarian and even though the choice is limited the courgette pie dish offered was delicious!Great music too, one evening there was also live Rebetiko in its most authentic form!Keep it up guys!!!

Amongst the pavements of Amorgosâs Chora, you may find this restaurant. It was referred to us by our local host and we quickly understood the reason. All the dishes weâve ordered came quickly, with impeccable taste and all freshly made. Ntakos salad was crispy and tasty, the meats were nicely done and tender, as well as the little cheese pies with the local cheese named ksinomitzithra.Definitely worth visiting as the waiters are also a nice add-on, being approachable, friendly and helpful.

We were driving around Amorgos, like you do and we stumbled across this restaurant, right at lunch time. What a find. We had a lovely Greek Salad, yummy tzatziki and the best Dolmades accompanied by fresh brown and white bread. The desserts looked fabulous but unfortunately none of us could fit any in. Recommend to come here for sure.

A gourmet destination of Amorgos. You will taste traditional Amorgian dishes in their modern version, under the supervision of chef Aris Roussos, enjoying the magnificent view of Katapola bay.
I read so many good reviews about this place and had high expectations. The location is perfect and the staff really friendly. But the food was not what I had hoped. Had the lemon chicken and it was bland in flavor. Will I go back? Maybe -but then only for a glass of wine and the view.

We tried this restaurant after having read incredibly positive reviews. Suggested as the best restaurant in Amorgos, we came here for a quite early dinner, when many tables were still free and there was no pressure or chaos. We waited a while to get someone to take our orders, and this already gave us a glimpse of what the service was. The starters came many minutes apart, so I had to start eating alone, while my boyfriend was still waiting for his starter to arrive. The main dishes came simultaneously. However, during the dinner, my boyfriend had to napkin. The food was food. The fish is fresh and the fish itself is a good combination of tradition ingredients and a modern twist. The service doesn't compare with the food, the location and the prices at all.In my opinion, a good service can make an average food very good, but and average service is never compensated by good food.

This place is located in a narrow cobbled atmospheric street in Chora. Service was friendly. Food was fresh, well presented and tasty and represented the best of Greek island mediterranean food. Probably the best we had while in Amorgos for a week. Strongly recommended

We had a lot of good meals on Amorgos but this was our absolute favourite. Stuffed peppers that were so sweet, meatballs with yoghurt on pitta bread, Greek Salad and sausage ragu with tomatoes and peppers . The flavours were so fresh and the colours vibrant. A delight to the eye and the tastebuds. Situated on a lovely rooftop terrace, and the staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient.
