Fantastic place for food. Good portionâs well cooked, family owned established for years. Always eat here when in Ageos. Great choice of traditional meals. Always amazed how 2 men can service so many tables and not have any tables with dirty pots on. Love this place.

Visit our traditional taverna to sample authentic Cretan cuisine famous for its delicious appetizers, juicy local meat and the freshest seafood. A non- smoking area is situated on the 1st floor. Other visitors may delight in our food on the ground floor o
The experience in Ravaisi was wonderful; the food was freshly cooked and remarkably tasty, while the service and the owners were very friendly and helpful!! Highly recommended to everyone that wants to try authentic traditional Cretan food!!!

A place can get it so very wrong with the music selection... not here at Kimzu! Spent a day eating, drinking, swimming and relaxing listening to a good selection of chilled out tunes... definitely has an Ibiza beach club feel about it. A big plus are the lovely, clean and funky toilets! Prices are very reasonable... nice cocktails. If you are in the area definitely go spend a day there! Dear achmelvic,Thank you very much for your review !We are happy to hear you had a nice day at Kimzu !We wish you a nice stay at crete and we hope to welcome you back another time !Best regards,Kimzu sealounge

MY family and I would like to welcome you to "Patriko" Patriko is the oldest tavern in Agios Nikolaos. Previously known as Knossoss, the happy home of my family and lovingly run by my father Nikos, for more than 40 years. In Honour of my father whom has r
Great place and excellent food. We took salad a'la Patriko and grilled halloum for two. Both were excellent - the best meal we got in Agios Nikolaos. Unfortunately we had no time to visit there again. Staff were very friendly and prices very reasonable. Highly recommanded!

Stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel, Food was good and service was great too. They have a wide selection of different types of food and what we had seemed very fresh, Wonât say itâs the best restaurant in Agios Nikolaos but would go back again if we was in the area Only downside with it itâs aimed at the Russian customers hence most of the wording of the signs and menu was in Russian. Nevertheless will visit next time in Crete

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews I chose Piato for a dinner with my kids and it was absolutely amazing. The food selection is very unique and different from all the mainstream and itâs super delicious. The waiters are super attentive, friendly especially with kids. The wine list is amazing and the waiters will give you very good recommendations and information. Just follow their advice. Itâs really a great place even though not so central. You will definitely not be disappointed! thank you very much for your visit! You are more than welcome for your next visit!

A traditional greek fish tavern right at the small port of Plaka, Elounda with a splendid view of Spinalonga Island
Iâm very partial to grilled sardines and when I asked the concierge at my hotel at Elounda which taverna in the area served the best sardines, she at once replied: âGorgona in Plaka.âLike all recommendations in Greece, I wondered if this was a stitch-up. The taxi driver who drove me the five kilometres there and back was probably her brother; the owner of Taverna Gorgona her cousin. But the grilled sardines, cooked on an open grill were to die for. I followed the sardines with calamari, washed down with a small bottle of Retsina. The bill came to less than 15 Euros. It was a charming experience and I was furious that I had discovered it on the last night of my holiday.Like all Greek resorts, Plaka seems to have as many tavernas as residents so save yourself the agony of indecision and make straight for Gorgona. Itâs a friendly family taverna on a premium spot on the waterfront with a view of Spinalonga island. It has a very substantial menu but I suggest that you stick to what is fresh and caught locally and ask for a table outside at the waterâs edge. Now hereâs something thatâs never happened to me before: at Heraklion airport on the way home, a woman came up to me and said, âWas it you we saw having dinner at Gorgona last night?â âYes it was,â I replied, surprised. âWhy?â'My husband and I were at the table right behind you,' she said. âWe saw your sardines and ordered the same. We had the best meal of the holidayâ. âSame here,â I told her.
