This attraction doesn’t even have an entrance fee. We were allowed to go in even though one chamber was closed due to a marriage celebration and reception on going . Impressive, with art depicting murals of Norwegian history coupled with Norse mythology. This is also the official venue of the Nobel Peace prize done annually.

‘Ello chaps! Lights! Camera! Action! This tour gives you the chance to wander the halls of NRK’s various buildings on their campus, each focused on radio production, television production, and other series. NRK is Norway’s public broadcaster. The tour is often offered on weekends only and cost approximately $10 USD. Notice the weekend tours, meaning while you’ll see various studios, you will not see actual production work happening during the tour. NOTE: The tours are conducted ENTIRELY in Norwegian language, so unless you have some understanding of the field, then it may be difficult for you to comprehend what is going on. As an English speaking tourist, I had no problem getting the jist of the tour, which including a radio foley studio (where technicians make audio sounds), a large television sound stage, and a scene shop where woodwork for upcoming productions were on full display. The tour also includes a good look at NRK’s history, while keeping it all interesting. The tours are limited to 20 to 30 people and included a good mix of small children to adults of all ages. The only downside is I wish there was a gift shop of some kind. Overall I give NRK Tour five stars out of five stars.

In the Town Hall Square in the Town of Roses stands the bronze statue of the Rose Maiden, surrounded by a dancing fountain. The Rose Maiden is young and beautiful and has her arms full of roses. The sculpture was a gift to Molde in 1971 from Gotlib Moe, owner of the former clothing factory Hovding Konfeksjonsfabrikk. It was sculpted by Ragnhild Butenschon. Molde Town Hall was completed in 1966 and is the result of an architectural competition won by the architects Cappelen and Rodahl. Built in concrete and stone it features gold-tinted glass. The roof of the town hall boasts one of the town's most beautiful rose gardens.
