Lakelands Golf Club

Reviewed By GrantWgolfer - Auckland, New Zealand

Played 3 rounds in April from the white tees. Not an easy course but careful placement made for enjoyable golf. Welcoming staff and with a cart, including ice in a 'chilly bin' the green fee is reasonable. Found balls in the '1st cut' just off the fairways, so watch where your ball is heading as they will hide in the rough. 14th hole to me was the highlight of this lovely course. A must play if visiting Surfers Paradise.

Friendly staff, well kept course. Not too challenging as my husband was recovering from surgery. The wildlife was sensational...Swans, ducks, spoonbills, bush turkey, peacock, a plethora of kangaroos with joeys and a koala which actually stopped and posed....Beautiful!!
