From its perfect blend of design and scenery, to its temperate weather, you're certain to find Kingswood's Championship Golf Course a unique challenge, and one you'll want to take up again and again. If you ask a local, they will tell you that Kingswood has the best greens on the Garden Route and this is one of the main reasons why it is often frequented by the Sunshine Tour Players when they are not on tour. The design is inspired by the Home of Golf, St Andrews (The Old Course) in Scotland with its Links style open fairways, undulating greens and traditional pot bunkers. There is no other course in South Africa like it, which makes it a ‘must play’ if you are travelling in the area. This course is truly the Jewel of the Garden Route and should not be missed on any golfing tour.
The course is in fantastic condition, lush fairways and quick true running greens. Some long holes, but also open course. Good variety of holes. Golf cart needed as some changes in elevation. Tasty pies at the half way houses, and good food in the club house.

Very well maintained course. Very welcoming staff. Caddies are a great help when you don't know the route. COVID regulations are perfectly followed. Only one negative point, the price for a 9 hole course. No reciprocal rates if you are a member of another club. But the quality of the infrastructure makes you forget these elements.

Lovely course in good condition unlike its neighbour at Pezula. Great layout but not for the feint hearted. We were a gents 4 ball but were held up on every hole by a senior gent in front of us. His lady partner was able to move quickly but the course was too difficult for him to walk from buggy to green and back at any speed. It was very slow because the buggies were kept well away from the greens so a lot of steep walking was still required. Fair doos to the guy : he never gave up!

Fairways a bit hard due to lack of rain. A bit expensive but worth it for the golfing experience. Beautiful views on the back nine. Bring a lot of balls especially when it is windy, duffucult course. Checkin and pro shop service very good. Highly recommended for the experience

We chanced upon Riversdal golf course and were really happy to be able to get onto the golf course on a Saturday. A member, Francois, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and fit us into the field which was hosting a competition. Also a big thanks for the wonderful hospitality from the other golfers. The golf course is in as good a condition as it can be considering the the circumstances and various parameters relating to golf courses. It is obvious that the course is loved by its members. Go play a round and stay for a drink or two afterwards. You might be lucky enough to meet Frans!

We were a group of 4 couples of varying ability. The course is a favorite of mine and the greens are amongst the best I have played on (very true and with good speed) - exceptional when you consider this is a coastal course. Arrangements in the pro shop were straight forward (we had Flook vouchers) and the staff friendly. The golf carts don't have GPS so you need to work out distances yourself or with personal devices. There are Green tees (Ladies) in play now which we weren't advised of either by the pro shop staff or the starter. Given that the Red tees were often the same as the Blue (and even White) tees this made it difficult for the ladies on some of the holes. Had a drink in the pub afterwards. Great setting and friendly staff made this worthwhile. Halfway house also efficient and good value
