The golf course is stunningly beautiful and in wonderful condition. The professionals and staff were exemplary. The standard of service and accomodation in the clubhouse is without parallel. We ate in the formal dining room and the standard is very high.It is simply the best overall golfing experience I have had. By far the main reason is the friendly, cheerful, courteous and caring service and attitude of all the staff from bar, restaurant to room service.

The local golf club has been great to visit again for lunch but with Covid rules and it's nearby to where we live. Don't forget your mask. Signing in at reception is very good with checking drivers licence. New area done with renovations looking out to the golf course. There is a new menu and every day specials. I had a beautiful meal of honey sesame crispy prawns which were big, rice, chips and salad from the new menu. It was delicious, would order it again, not overly sweet with the honey just right amount and prawns were juicy, crispy batter and yummy. My partner had the risdoles with bacon, mash and veggies.

With a sandy base, a minimum of trees, and naturally undulating couch fairways this Vern Morcom designed links is one of the best courses on The Bellarine. Following the opening of the course in 1970, the original design was again enhanced in 1976 by a Kevin Hartley course Master Plan. In 2001 significant improvements were again made following the adoption a second master plan by Michael Clayton. With challenging bunkers and firm and fast greens, it is the wind that often determines the level of playing difficulty. The course measures 6,150 metres from the championship marks and is a challenging par-72. A challenge for players of all standards and a true test of golfing ability.
Last Saturday 23rd November we were privileged to hire the function room at The Curlewis Golf Club Driving Range, for a Surprise Birthday party for my wife. We have nothing but praise for Jodie Pitfield (function manager) & her wonderfully attentive staff. From my initial meeting to choose a date & set agendas etc. Jodie’s attention to detail was outstanding. Every step was effortlessly planned. & carefully itemised. Nothing left to chance. On the day of our Celebration, once again the whole event was beautifully managed. Our guests were met & ushered into the function room prior to our “surprise “ arrival. All staff were courteous & considerate in every way. We had elected to have a Gourmet BBQ , which was of outstanding quality & superbly cooked. Our guests raved over the food. The Function room itself is bright & airy & as a bonus looks out onto both Driving Range & mini golf course. Fantastic for us as we had many kids that we could see from the room playing outside. Hiring a couple of ranges with unlimited balls also provided amusement for many of our party. We have no hesitation in giving this venue a big 10 out of 10. Thank you Jodie , Carol , & all your wonderful team. With great respect, Chris & Kerry Vance.
