Westchester County, a collection of towns that serve as a popular suburb for the bordering New York City, is also the gateway to the Hudson River Valley, an area that promises a plethora of outdoor activities, from sailing to bird-watching to cross country skiing. The County also contains Rye Playland, a popular children's amusement park, historic sites from the American Revolution, the African American Heritage Trail and several famous houses, including Lyndhurst, a Gothic Revival mansion.

Mossy Fern is a great place to find that special plant you didn’t even know you needed. Knowledgeable staff, unusual collection of tropical houseplants, pots, plant food, soil and, in season, a boutique nursery of outdoor plants for containers or landscape. Curated gardening services for when your mow & blow crew doesn’t know what to do with your veggie bed or perennials. Online ordering easy & efficient for those still staying home. Delivery within the rivertowns. Sister shop in Bronxville but Hastings is the main event. Oh yeah, and cut flower bouquets.

Stephanie was very welcoming and gave us an appointment to come shop (due to COVID protocols you have to do that, she even had masks at the door on a little table) on short notice. The store is on 2 floors of a Victorian house, beautifully decorated and you'll find furniture, home decor, jewelry, clothes, and more. There are also cute new things with a vintage air. We bought some cute things and really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back.
A very Unique and Eclectic Gift Shop and Art Gallery.
