Bird Street is just a few minutes on foot from Longshan Temple MRT Station on Heping West Road Section 3, close to the Longshan Temple Underground Shopping Bazaar and Dali Street. There are a number of unique traditional shops here, but the street is dominated by pet stores specializing in birds, bird feed and other bird-related products, making it a popular destination both for bird lovers and tourists. Many international visitors come to buy traditional Eastern-style birdcages that can only be found in this area. Even if you're not shopping, the street is fun to browse along with the chirping of thousands of birds.
