Didier Sibani began his interest in Tahitian Black Pearls working alongside Coco Chaze on the atoll of Manihi in the Tuamotu Archipelago. In 1973, Sibani established himself as one of the pioneers of the Tahitian Pearl Industry. By 2001, the SIBANI Pearls group has grown to 69 boutiques around the world. At the heart of the Polynesian South Pacific, lies our flagship retail store in Vaitape, Bora Bora. We create a local and comfortable atmosphere through our bamboo decor and friendly professional staff, whom are well educated in the history and value of the Tahitian Black Pearls. We pride ourselves in educating our clientele about every bit of the production process concerning the cultured pearl. Our selection includes an overwhelming variety of pearls in all shapes, sizes and grades. Matched with pendants, earrings, and necklaces of silver or gold, we assist our clients to find their unique pearls, to highlight their unique persona. Open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays.

While in Bora Bora we had the pleasure of receiving a recommendation from a local resident to this Pearl shop. Melanie met us and gave us a nice history and explanation of the location and operation of this family owned Pearl farm and jewelry shop with GIA certification. She was very kind and helpful with great insight to help us find products in our price range with great, honest and experienced guidance for complimenting characteristics for my wife's tones. During the finalization of our transaction she was very clear on instruction and made it very easy for us to complete the customs transaction when leaving the country. Highly recommended to all!

The best place you can go to buy pearls in Bora Bora. Don't get suspicious that they don't have a street store front and they work out of their home back patio. Pierre and his wife are very friendly and kind, actually they came to pick us up at the hotel. When you get there Pierre will ask you what you know about pearls and you can get the best on site class and at the end you will know how to pick and choose what you buy. We have learned a lot from him. And then you realize that the quality they have is much better then the other stores. And most the don't pressure you to buy, which is very important. Grazie mille per la bellissima esperienza Pierre. Max and Laura

Clothing, South Pacific art, accessories, Tahitian pearls (GIA awarded)... Your rendez vous with elegance, art and style
My husband and I were exploring Vaitape from our Windstar Dreams of Tahiti cruise. We are so glad we discovered Bora Bora Original. Bora Bora Original is many things: an upscale boutique, an art gallery, a contemporary jewelry store, and souvenir shop. I could have spent hours shopping here and buying much, but alas packing concerns stopped me. My husband and I like to buy a "souvenir of the trip" and we found ours at Bora Bora Original. We purchased a beautiful oil-on-canvas painting of a Bora Bora landscape by Kevin Petras, who happened to be the brother of the store manager. We will proudly exhibit the painting in our Hood River, Oregon home. My husband also found a t-shirt he had to have, which does not happen often. The store staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. If you are visiting Vaitape, be sure to bring a larger suitcase to hold the treasures you will find at Bora Bora Original.

Jewelry Workshop in Bora Bora, 100% handmade. Customized creations made of sterling silver , tahitian keshis pearls, rosewood...
Was walking by and noticed the woman working in the window. I had a keshi that multiple other jewelers told me I couldn't do anything with it, they were able to make it into a necklace (and gave the option of a bracelet or ring) that I love! She did this on site while we waited a few minutes. Great shop!

Tahiti Pearl Market is a place dedicated to Tahitian pearls. Initially pearl farmers, we decided to introduce the Tahitian pearl through a Pearlery concept where our customers would select their pearl as if they were at the pearl farm. Once selected, the pearl would be set on a setting of their choice. Our team of bilingual professionals can assist our customers in selecting the right pearl to match their style. Let's find your pearl together!
Morihei was so helpful and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain and understand what I was looking for. I highly recommend a stop to see him at Le Meridian in Bora Bora.

A Family Businness since 1990, pearl producer and unique jewellery all over French Polynesia. Certified Pearls & Reasonnable Prices
If you visit Bora Bora, it is an amazing opportunity to purchase beautiful pearls as they come from here. We were offered a free necklace from Albert Store. In the past we have never taken the time to get our free offer as it seemed like.a ploy to get you to the store and be pressured Into buying something else. This was not our experience at Albert Store. There was no pressure at all even as I looked around. We picked up the simple pearl necklace and left. We went into all the other pearl stores and returned to Albert Store where I purchased a beautiful and reasonably priced necklace. Andrea was terrific as was Hinanui. They were both so lovely and helpful. This store is set back a little from the Main Street. It is well worth visiting. Please do go. It is family owned too.
