This is a great little shop with a fantastic selection of local cheeses. The staff were lovely and going out of their way to please and be helpful. I was looking for some cheese for Christmas presents and they always had great suggestions for cheeses to recommend, despite me being really indecisive. They even wrapped them all up for me nicely in paper. Just a shame I didn't buy any for myself!

I recently bought a pair of boots from 'Conker Shoes' after having seen and admired them on a devotee. The boots I bought in April are beautiful; the quality remarkable. I plan another purchase soon and a visit! Thank You Katie for your guidance. Ruth L.

Stopped off on our way to Totnes and spent a relaxed hour here out on the benches. Affable crowd. We had two large but different IPAs and would have stayed for a vegetarian burger lunch from The Big Kebabski food stand. We will be back.

The Drift Record Shop is an independent Record Shop in the bucolic countryside town of Totnes. We primarily stock new music on a rolling schedule, but we are (deliberately) not definable by any specific set of genres of themes. The local record shop, Drift, is mind-bogglingly great: the kind of place that you'd think was amazing if you found it in New York" - John Harris, The Guardian
This is an art gallery and Record Shop combined. As well as selling great music it also celebrates the cover art that is one of the many things that is great about Vinyl Records. The shop is located right at the very top of the High Street and is well worth the long walk up the hill. Very nicely designed interior on 2 levels with loads of interesting and obscure titles. Would recommend visiting even if you’re not into vinyl, just to see the cover art. Left feeling happy with a new addition to my collection.
