The date night workshop was a great glass blowing experience and it made for a unique night out. Justin was awesome and attentive. We have two beautiful glass ornaments to remember the evening.

First Reviews from 2012 remain true! Stayed at a Bungalow airbnb in Seminole Heights for a week and explored the many businesses along North Florida Ave and this is one of the Best! Stopped in and was fascinated with all the quality products Greg had on display. I love the Homemade Bar Soaps and bought the Lemongrass which is so nice in the shower! Greg recommended the Evolvh Hydrating Shampoo for my daughter's curly hair and my color treated hair. I have tried many shampoos and I can stop here! All Natural and no sulfate. To try it, I only bought the 2 oz sizes of the Wash and the Conditioner...a little goes a long way and his prices are very reasonable when comparing prices online so I will order from him in the future to support the small business owner He also gave me some samples of shaving oil, cream and lotion for my teen daughter who has very sensitive skin and I am so pleased with these products as well. Greg is very knowledgeable and friendly. I stopped in the next day before heading home and and bought another bar of soap for my mom and some Unicorn Fizzy Bath Dust along with a Unicorn bar soap for my Granddaughter's 8th Birthday in August which his assistant gift wrapped for free. He has a great selection of items for gifts and his store smells absolutely wonderful! Definitely recommend! Makes me want to run a second store for him in Fort Lauderdale!

My husband is a Fuente cigar lover and in my novice search for the perfect Christmas gift, I found the Tampa Sweethearts site! I had some questions on my purchase, so I phoned the customer contact and Arturo Fuente, Jr. answered the phone. Talk about a personal touch! What a wonderful man! So warm, personable and accommodating. He even offered to autograph the cigar box for my husband as well. My husband will be thrilled. Hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to visit the Tampa Sweethearts store in person. Happy Holidays, Arturo and thank you doing what you do! :-)

In 1954, J.C. Newman Cigar Company moved from Cleveland, Ohio to the historic El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida. Built in 1910, El Reloj still serves as the international headquarters for J.C. Newman and is the only factory still manufacturing cigars in Cigar City. In 2020, our iconic factory underwent a restoration project to highlight its historic beauty and expand our public spaces. We invite you to come back and explore our museum and factory store. Our store showcases a wide selection of brands from J.C. Newman, Arturo Fuente, and Ybor City cigarmakers and a boutique area offers beautiful gifts from local Tampa Bay area companies and artisans. Behind the scenes factory tours are offered multiple days a week, and we continue to add interactive experiences. Between our museum and docent-led tour options, you will be able to peek into the past to see how our family persevered through the years& learn more about the industry.
I have recently retired and now have some leisure time on my hands to venture out around Florida. I was born and raised in Colorado so the warm weather is great. I do appreciate a good cigar on occasion so this tour attracted my attention. The entire facility is amazingly well preserved and the guide was very knowledgeable. He knew the history of the plant and the family so it was quite informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in cigars, architecture, manufacturing, or just history.

New Covid-19 Hours. Our non-profit African Diaspora Literature and Culture Museum is dedicated to the literary accomplishments of people of the African Diaspora whose ancestors were not permitted to read or write and their Cultural History. We also sell new, used and rare books of the African Diaspora.
Lovely people running the place, they’re both knowledgeable on the subject of African American history and you’d do well to listen to them speak on the topic. The tour was short, sweet and to the point. It was a rundown on the history of many African Americans throughout history and how many people are actually far more African than they think themselves to be. They have a large collection of many African writers and they’re more than happy to give an introduction to anyone who isn’t knowledgeable about African American history.
