Florence is an art historian’s dream. The Galleria dell'Accademia bursts with works by Michelangelo, who is entombed within the frescoed walls of the Basilica di Santa Croce. Budding photographers can snap pics of the Ponte Vecchio bridge, and serious shoppers can spend a blissful afternoon wandering the shops of Piazza Santo Spirito. Tuscan cuisine pays homage to the region’s bounty. Swipe a hunk of crusty bread across a pool of local olive oil and you’ll be instantly transported to your happiest place.

For those not looking for brand names, stop in at this shop that features luxury leather goods and accessories.
This is the finest leather store in the world. I puchsed my briefcase online and was given excellent service by email from Antonella. We went through various iterations, until we ended up with the briefcase I ultimately purchased. The leather and construction are superior. I am very happy with the purchase! I have been to the store in person previously. Wonderful products, service and pricing for the quality. A magnificent store!

We happened upon the shop on our final day in Florence and it became a highlight (among many) in a two-week trip divided between Positano and Florence. The quality of the products was exceeded only by the courtesy and personalities of father and son, and we treated ourselves to a jacket for me, a larger purse for my wife, and a hand-purse for my daughter. My habit is to take as souvenirs only things that are of special quality and will be a reminder of the occasion, and owners, every time I put on the deerskin jacket. We are nowhere near 'price is no object' level, but I have never been remotely regretful of getting the best, and everything about Bottega Giotti, including handling shipping to the States, was above first-rate.
