When it comes to outdoor activities, the Peak District National Park is the whole package. Located in the north of England, the park offers everything from horse riding to rock climbing, windsurfing to paragliding, plus walking trails galore. One trail, Derwent Valley Heritage Way, allows you to take in the area’s open landscape while also showcasing its industrial roots. Discovering hidden underground formations at such spots as Titan Cave (the highest natural cavern in the U.K.) is another popular pastime. Best of all, there are camp- and RV sites throughout so guests can settle into these surroundings.

Edward and Vintage is set in the heart of the Peak District. Housed in the former post office in the village of Tissington. Edward and Vintage is situated at the start of two wonderful foot paths taking you across fields to the Tissington trail. A great venue to get your supplies for the walk or to sit and enjoy a handmade ice-cream in the gardens of the cottage after a day exploring.
We took my nephew and foster child down to the sweet shop after we had lunch at tisssington. As we went in the store there was range of classic and modern sweets and chocolates we had a field day. I would definitely recommend the rubarb and custard boiled there have won awards from it and the owner is so kind and very smiley.

Corvette Silo is based in the heart of beautiful Bakewell. The look of the building you would think that it has been nestled there for hundreds of years but surprisingly it is from the 1960s but built from centuries-old materials reclaimed from demolished stable nearby. The beautiful building lends itself to the products we stock which are chic vintage style home, garden and personal gifts.

A delightful community cafe selling homemade bread, jams, chutneys and marmalades, locally made pies and southern Indian curries, crafts and homemade cakes and biscuits. Come and enjoy a cup of tea and a snack in our lovely garden under a spreading oak tree with views across the valley and down the river Derwent.
We have been a couple of times and it just lovely, drinks and cake spot on and you sit in the church grounds, simple and enchanting, a lovely place to relax before you continue on your journey.

The Itsy bitsy store in chapel on le frith is fabulous. It's the highlight of my visit when I'm visiting the town. The ladies are so welcoming and the clothing is unique, beautiful and well priced. If I lived closer it would play havoc on my bank balance as there are so many beautiful things to purchase and always a constant stream of new clothing and accessories. The ladies have done an amazing job throughout the pandemic. Well done, cant wait to visit again

Producing Luxury Dairy products from our happy Jersey cows in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. Italian inspired Gelato, Our famous raw Jersey milk and of course our Gelato.
What more could you ask for than fresh, raw milk ice-cream from Jersey cows?! It's truly delicious and my 8 year old has declared it his favourite ever, which is quite the statement from an ice-cream aficionado! Would highly recommend a trip out to anyone visiting or living nearby.

We pride ourselves on offering quality produce fresh from the estate, tenant farms, Derbyshire suppliers and other small food producers. We are proud of our history and philosophy, and invite you to come and explore our farm shop.
The Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop and Café is a delight for locals and for visitors. We spent a week in a self-catering cottage and the shop provided us with excellent quality fresh produce, a large and high-quality range of estate meat, seafood and a very tempting range of baked goods and desserts. Highlights were the excellent pre-prepared fish pie and the famous Bakewell tarts. Very friendly and obliging staff complete the experience. Highly recommended.
