Could spent hours scanning the shelves of the gem of a bookshop. Great range for every interest all laid out in well labelled sections. Great prices and very friendly owner who knows her stock. Well worth the drive to visit

Edward and Vintage is set in the heart of the Peak District. Housed in the former post office in the village of Tissington. Edward and Vintage is situated at the start of two wonderful foot paths taking you across fields to the Tissington trail. A great venue to get your supplies for the walk or to sit and enjoy a handmade ice-cream in the gardens of the cottage after a day exploring.
We took my nephew and foster child down to the sweet shop after we had lunch at tisssington. As we went in the store there was range of classic and modern sweets and chocolates we had a field day. I would definitely recommend the rubarb and custard boiled there have won awards from it and the owner is so kind and very smiley.

The Pub is open 2 - 10 Friday, Saturday and Sunday In addition, the Craft Beer Shop is open for click and collect on Wednesday and Thursday 2 - 5
Craft beer isn’t my bag, but the ambience is lovely and lots of other drinks are available! Very friendly, warm and welcoming - unfussy and feels Covid-safe. The dog likes it so much she’s started pulling in that direction on walks ????

This is a great place for grown ups and kids. Lots of books, a great kids room, and really nice cafe, lots of good books new and old. A favourite to go to with my daughter after rugby or a walk nearby to get food for body and soul. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A delightful community cafe selling homemade bread, jams, chutneys and marmalades, locally made pies and southern Indian curries, crafts and homemade cakes and biscuits. Come and enjoy a cup of tea and a snack in our lovely garden under a spreading oak tree with views across the valley and down the river Derwent.
We have been a couple of times and it just lovely, drinks and cake spot on and you sit in the church grounds, simple and enchanting, a lovely place to relax before you continue on your journey.

Once upon a time, something wonderful happened... Julie the shopkeeper believed in making a difference. With her belief, passion, hard work and the support of loved ones, the villagers and her dedicated team, she created the village rainbow to the wonderful shop it is today! The shop has been continuously growing and Julie has extended her range to homemade local ice cream, one-off pieces of furniture, quirky gifts, cards, jewellery and many more unique items we love... The village rainbow enjoys watching the joy and smiles it continues to bring, by giving first class customer service, helping you get that perfect present for a friend or family member, and giving the people of Ashbourne a beautiful shop to have a look around daily :)

Equatorial is THE go-to place for fabulously funky, fair trade clothing, bags, trinkets, accessories, embroideries and loads more! We travel the world to bring you the best in ethnic chic. With our friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and great music, this is a fun shopping trip for all; the toddlers, tiddlers, grannies and grandpas, wide awake students, weary mums and dads, glammed up shoppers, muddy walkers, the dog, the cat and the kitchen sink! First time venturers of the shop will often describe us as a 'tardis' or 'alladdins cave'... Why not come and see for yourself!
Absolutely amazing little place (both Ashbourne and Matlock Bath! Full of beautiful treasures, ethically sourced, fairly priced and awesome quality. The staff always go above and beyond to brighten your day, from the signs on the door when you enter to the warm welcome from happy, quirky people (and even sometimes a four-legged friend!). I truly can not recommend this place enough if you’re into unique decor, materials and jewellery. Definitely a winner ????????

Small artisan chocolate shop full of beautiful hand made chocolate products including our vibrant freshly made fresh cream chocolates and truffles, incredible hot chocolate, bars, cake truffles, Easter eggs and many other chocolatey creations. Large range of exciting flavours and free tasters always available. All our products are gluten free.
This is an exceptional experience. The staff completely understand, that when you walk in and see the array of chocolates, you are probably going to be overwhelmed for choice and are patient and extremely friendly and helpful! The smell of chocolate is amazing and you can see the open kitchen to the right, where they concoct their amazing tastes and designs!!!! Beautifully presented and incredible works of art.... absolutely delicious, with no artificial flavours! The hot chocolate is perfection and I have a small cup, but it is not sickly sweet and does not sit on your stomach! It is divine, with Bailey’s, as they have an alcohol licence in the shop! Whilst we were in the shop. Another customer came back in and asked for another one! I don’t blame him!! This little gem, needs to be shouted about all over Staffordshire. At Christmas time, it is like a Dickensian shop of treasures. Fabulous!!!!

The Itsy bitsy store in chapel on le frith is fabulous. It's the highlight of my visit when I'm visiting the town. The ladies are so welcoming and the clothing is unique, beautiful and well priced. If I lived closer it would play havoc on my bank balance as there are so many beautiful things to purchase and always a constant stream of new clothing and accessories. The ladies have done an amazing job throughout the pandemic. Well done, cant wait to visit again

Producing Luxury Dairy products from our happy Jersey cows in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. Italian inspired Gelato, Our famous raw Jersey milk and of course our Gelato.
What more could you ask for than fresh, raw milk ice-cream from Jersey cows?! It's truly delicious and my 8 year old has declared it his favourite ever, which is quite the statement from an ice-cream aficionado! Would highly recommend a trip out to anyone visiting or living nearby.
