The “Red City” of Marrakesh is a magical place, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina can easily eat up a day. Find inner peace at the serene Jardin Majorelle or take in the beauty of one of the city’s historic mosques (taking note that, unless you are Muslim, you are not allowed to enter).

We really had an outstanding experience here! I bought the white rugs with the black criss cross pattern via communication with Driss, the store owner, on Whats App. My friends returned from Marrakech with beautiful rugs that I had to have (and I sadly missed out on when I was there). Driss sent me pictures of the rugs he had, along with the dimensions, and negotiated the prices with me all via Whats App. We paid via Western Union transfer. I received a receipt, tracking number, and three beautiful, plush carpets in the mail less than a week later (we had them shipped to Germany). Bottom line, ordering from abroad and having rugs shipped was a great option for us. We had a fantastic experience doing this and can only recommend it.

When here November 28 2019, the service was exceptionally good, with the owner abdelghani spending at least a hour showing us the different kinds of rugs, where they originate from and histories of many of the tribes that make them. He speak excellent English and made the entire experience worth while by not being pushy and being very easy to barter and deal with. I would recommend his shop as the best carpet store that we visited in Marrakesh

My 14 year old had her henna design done. The ladies were so sweet and friendly. We felt welcomed, were served delicious tea and water. There were two other women there, one was having a very intricate design done on hands and feet, quite incredible. We all joked and laughed, it was fun and easy. Highly recommended!
